Visited Tecovas on a Sunday evening expecting a quieter shopping experience, but it was surprisingly packed. The atmosphere was lively, though it was a bit tricky to distinguish employees from other customers. We spent some time searching for assistance, and at first, the customer service felt underwhelming; we felt like an afterthought. But everything changed when we connected with the best brander in the store (I think her name was Kennedy). She turned our experience around, using her branding artistry to help design an amazing pair of boots. The store itself is gorgeous and perfectly located on South Congress. While our initial impression was rocky, this team member’s expertise and dedication saved the day.

We had the absolute best experience at Tecovas! Jordan, Adrian and Grant were the most helpful people in guiding us towards the perfect purchases. We were visiting from Pittsburgh and now have the perfect personalized souvenirs.

Is a great store of a great staff I personally found myself in some hard times and had come across meeting Justin from the store and all I can say is that he's a rare person nowadays because of my time of trouble I've met a lot of people that have given me the cold shoulder and show me no time of the day but Justin and I had spoken on numerous occasions he not only went out of his way to help me but showed he has compassion, and his utmost professionalism I'd be happy to work for a man like this and anybody who comes across his path to feel fortunate that he's a true man of his word and is a class act. Anybody who comes into the store and comes across Justin just know you're in good hands

If you want a huge variety of cowboy boots, this is the place to go in Austin. The service is impeccable and the gals and guys working there are super friendly and go the extra mile to help you find the perfect pair of boots. I enjoyed my experience there and ended up buying a pair of great leather boots. FIVE STARS!!!!!

This store was just awesome! The guy from Florida (dunno his name) was a great time and helped me find the perfect boots. Juliana really went the extra mile helping my mom who isn't fluent in english, making sure she got the right product while having a great time.
She even made some drinks and had a little chat with us, despite being very busy with a couple of other customers at the same time, which was awesome!
In fact, probably the best shopping experience I ever had in any store! Keep the vibe up and the good workers around!!??

I researched this place before coming to Texas and was so excited to find a pair of boots. The store is well stocked with a variety of styles and sizes of boots. The inhouse complimentry bar was perfect to keep the husband busy while I shopped. They also were able to ship my boots home to me which was perfect! I received them the following week in CT, very fast shipping. Im so happy with how my boots turned out and they are so comfortable. I will be purchasing again from here! And I also purchased a T-shirt.

Don’t bother shopping here. I came for ACL festival. As a Chicagoan, I was looking for the whole git up… cowboy hat, baseball hat, boots. Walked in after Equinox, as it’s located within walking distance, and multiple associates, who were not helping anyone mind you, completely ignored my friend and me. We tried on hats, looked at boots. I tried to make eye contact with someone to signal for help but they couldn’t bother to acknowledge us. So, we walked out and went to Allen Boots. Let me just tell you, magical experience.100 times better customer service. Bought everything I needed and made my first time in Austin so special. Do yourself a favor and do not shop here. Allen boots is legit three stores down on the same street.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with this Tecovas location. I was really wanting the Annie in Hunter green and they ended up being sold out online. I live in Ohio so driving to Austin wasn’t an option. I called this location to order it and they were so kind and helpful. The gentleman I talked to was nothing short of respectful and again very helpful. The customer service is unmatched.

Tecovas is a so-so boot store. Highly commercialized. I received a pair as a gift that's the same size as other boots that I have, but the Tecovas pair ran a little big. I came in with the gift receipt to exchange the pair that I wore for the first time to the store for the same boot but a smaller size. The manager said since I wore them in the store, I could no longer exchange them, and the best he could do is tell me, "get bigger socks." I understand he's just doing his job, but that's just a bad policy, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for boots.
