“It's a massive store with a lot of options, but it can definitely feel a little overpriced at times. It's best to make good use of the sales when they come around. Though bear in mind that there are some clothes made of low-quality polyester that can be bought for cheaper on places like Amazon and are absolutely not worth the price tag; I would advise being very discerning with your purchases. There are diamonds in the rough, and rough amongst the diamonds.”

“I absolutely love shopping here! I find such great deals! I rarely buy any clothes new anymore! They also have great deals on toys for all ages and equipment! I buy what I need for my daughter and after she grows out of it, I sell it back. This was an item I just purchased today at an awesome price and she just loves it! ”

“I have shopped at this store for a long time and liked it very much, but today I tried to exchange a gift (for the same item, no money back) and the experience was like pulling teeth. The employees insist they can’t process an exchange without a receipt, even though J Crew has done this in the past.I guess policies are policies, but the employees acted like I was trying to pull some kind of scam. It left a bad taste in my mouth.Update 12/21: I called the J Crew corporate office, and they accepted the exchange. I also went back to the store to buy a pair of jeans, and they had a solid holiday sale running. Still my favorite store for the tall, low-effort male demographic.”

“If you've never been to a Melrose before they carry off brand clothes for women (have great plus size selection) , kids, & men. They even carry shoes (off brand). Whenever, I'm on the hunt for a simple, colorful, & budget-friendly item of clothing (usually when I'm vacay outfit shopping) while being short on time, I'll come check out Melrose because this location is always organized and each of the racks are conveniently organized by color/style so I can quickly look over the racks to see if I can find what I was on the hunt for. “They are in the process of remodeling. The dressing rooms are great! They didn't have much of a selection for little girls clothes at this time but that's due to moving things around. The checkout has moved as well. Feels more open.”
