We just deposited a CASHIER'S Check (from a Federal Credit Union) at this branch location (where we have banked for many years) only to be told there would be a 10-day "Hold" placed on the check. As another Reviewer below (Ayche) documented, when you to speak to someone about the Hold, you are given a number (our "Holds Department") to call; and when you call, good luck reaching a human being; we never were able to do so.
We continue to use Chase for some banking needs, given its convenient location, but for all major needs (investment, high yield savings, and the like), we long ago chose other financial institutions. This latest experience at the Steiner Ranch branch confirms why.

My recent visits to the Chase branch at Steiner Ranch on March 12th and 13th, 2024, left me thoroughly impressed with the exceptional service provided by both Gabriel Joaquin and Courtney Scott. Gabriel's prompt assistance in printing a forgotten POA form showcased his professionalism and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Likewise, Courtney's warm greeting and remarkable memory stood out during my interaction with her the following day. Her expertise in notarizing my parents' POA form made the process smooth and efficient, all while adding a personalized touch to our experience. Both Gabriel and Courtney embody Chase's commitment to excellence in customer service, and their dedication is truly commendable. I am grateful for their assistance and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking banking services at Chase.

This branch staff need serious training. I brought a cashier's check issued by Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union. The teller gives me an 800 number to call so Chase can verify the cashier's check. After waiting on the line for almost 30 minutes, it turns out they only verify Chase issued checks. I wasted all this time waiting only to find out the 800 number I was given doesn't verify cashier checks from other banks (or credit unioins for that matter). I then was guided to speak to the manager who mentioned that they have to verify my check because I am a new client. I have been banking at chase for many years. The manager did not check my account before she assumed I am a new customer. The staff needs to be trained on how to check the status of accounts and other basic customer service rules. This was a very frustrating experience. I am upset at the treatment I received. I think the staff is biased. I received substandard treatment. I do not ever want to visit the Steiner Ranch Branch again even if I have to drive farther or move my business to another bank all together. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!

Don't get anything notarized here. They Won't notarize documents because I "needed" two witnesses. Never had to have two witnesses before. Plus documents doesn't say that it's required. (Update: another chase was able to notarize without two witnesses, because no where does it say it's required.)

The most unhelpful bank I’ve ever worked with. Staff displayed a lack of knowledge and were downright lazy with both business related issues we had. The business banker couldn’t even be bothered to get up from his desk to speak with us. Other Chase branches have always been accommodating and polite. This branch was anything but.

I cannot express enough how upset I am. Been on the drive through line for for 25 mins, getting no where. I cannot believe I cannot have access to my own money by depositing/cashing a check freaking made to my name because I don’t have exactly the same amount of funds as the check! Now I have to wait until the check is cleared. Absolutely ridiculous and waste of time. Will definitely be switching banks!

We have never been to a bank before that had 1 customer and 5+ employees where we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time and ultimately made the decision to leave without being helped. Hoping the Chase Bank in Lakeway has better service. Thank goodness for online banking because nobody has time for this. If it wasn't for having to make a high dollar wire transaction there is no way we would ever have stepped foot into this bank.

I walked into the Chase bank with my family on 3/30/2022 at 2:13 pm. A gentleman was ahead of me and I overheard he was going to make a deposit in his savings. The banker made a mistake and deposited his funds into one of his other accounts. This literally took 20 minutes to figure out. I waited my turn and walked up after this transaction was complete and asked to wire funds for closing on a house she said "someone will be right with you." 10 minutes went by and nothing. 2 bankers were in their cubicles just chatting away about their personal lives. Another banker came in and stood next to the banker who made a mistake with the deposit and was acting busy but didn't have a customer. This place has bankers who stand around not doing anything and they are slow as molasses.

This chase branch at Steiner ranch has very low knowledge in banking, staffs are lack of customer service and will push you to call chase help and support online. Everyone has fancy title but poor in banking knowledge and services. Screwup my bill payer auto setup and not take on responsible to correct it. Veronica (team leader) took her total 5 days and finally called me and gave me a chase online phone number to call. It must be a joke! Why is this chase at Steiner still open? Turn away and not solve customer bank issue is not a good idea from this location. Time to replace ALL of these incompetent staffs or SHUTDOWN this useless bank.I will take my business to somewhere else. I don't recommending any one to have your business here.

Went out of my way to this location, even called to confirm that they were open till 2:30pm as stated on google maps, made it to the bank at 2:19 drive through was closed, went around to the front, door was closed and at entrance was a sign that states they are closing at 2:00 pm ?. Staff was still inside and didn’t leave the bank till 2:35. Why pick up the phone and confirm that the bank doors will closes at 2:30.
