If you have a cat , bring here. My cat is doing so much better. The last vet recommended nothing for my cat and Dr. Leland did and I see the difference already in his gastritis. I also want to recognize Kara, she went over and beyond to help me clean up my car when my cat had an accident inside. Kudos to you Kara.

Dr. Leland and staff are wonderful- responsive, caring. They provide a calm atmosphere for the cats, and I have found more up to date and cat-focused care with them than at my previous major chain clinic. Dr Leland’s care has improved the health of my geriatric cat, and helped my 2 new kittens off to a great start. Best clinic for cats in the Austin area.

i could write an entire essay on why this place is the worst but let me just leave some pointsafter two years of 1-2 appointments a month, and thousands of dollars they still didn’t know what was wrong with my cat.the only way the doctor finally diagnosed my cat was when i called them out for constantly scheduling appointments for checkups and blood work just to make money and not actually help my kitty. then suddenly they knew exactly what was wrong and gave her the appropriate medicine after over TWO yrs.they are incredibly difficult to schedule with aswell and have been very rude. they take up to two weeks to let you know lab results and you have to call them because they always “forget” to call you.now my cat has passed away at only 9 years old because they didn’t give her the care she needed and i’m heartbroken i didn’t choose to go to a new vet sooner, because the one i go to now actually cares about helping your animal and prioritizing your pet.

This is my go-to place for my two cats. I've used them for routine examinations, vaccinations, and major surgeries and the quality and care of service is unmatched. It is a little more pricey than some clinics, but it is expected from specialized clinics. My cats are big babies so the cat-only atmosphere that they provide helps to make the visits a little better!

I recently moved to the area with my 16 year old cat, and trying to find the right vet for his needs was stressful. The Cat Hospital of Austin is everything I could’ve hoped for and more! The moment you walk in the door, you can tell the clinic is just for cats, it’s quiet and homey, there are even resident kitties wondering around to greet you! The staff was kind, caring, and genuinely took an interest in listening to my concerns and provided the best care I could’ve asked for. I feel very confident that my sweet boy will get the best care possible in his senior years from the wonderful staff here! I genuinely couldn’t be more pleased:)

The Cat Hospital of Austin team took excellent care of my pet cat during checkups and medical issues for over a decade - well into his "super-senior" years. They are incredibly compassionate and friendly and are a great choice for cats of all life stages.
