First off, I have to say that the front desk staff is very nice and helpful, which is the only reason I'd like to give this review more than one star. However, the shop itself is in bed with the insurance company so don't expect a fair estimate for your vehicle repairs AT ALL.Brandon Goodman at Caliber initially estimated the damages for my vehicle at $2,622.01, and then when I dropped my car off for repairs per the insurance company, the "new" estimate became $4,592.36 (more than double the initial estimate- huh!) And Brandon claimed it could be even HIGHER than that if they uncovered "additional damage". He also claimed it would be "really difficult" to find a door for my vehicle from a junkyard due to it being an older vehicle, even though it's extremely common and a very average color.Well Brandon was wrong on all accounts - I found a matching door for $142 (including tax) at a junkyard in town and there were MULTIPLE options because it's an extremely common car and color. So all-in, I got my car fixed for less than $600 and it's more than functional. I am 100% back on the road almost as if nothing happened, no thanks to Brandon or Caliber Collision. If I had gotten all new parts, MAYBE it would have been double that, but it would have no doubt been equal to or less than the initial estimate of $2600.Due to Caliber's partnership with USAA, they said that they wouldn't be able to to repair my car even if I brought it to them on my own independent of USAA's valuation. I guess they don't actually want business, then.Don't expect to be treated fairly at Caliber Collision - they're in bed with USAA and just trying to make money without any regard for people's lives, money or time. They don't care about providing you with an accurate estimate or doing research to find the reasonable parts that you need and get you back on the road, because it's in THEIR best interest to total your car by overestimating repair costs - this way, the insurance company can underpay you for your vehicle and turn around and sell it at auction for a profit. And I'm sure the collision center gets a cut or kickback from the insurance company for their part in the unethical process. Take your business elsewhere, and leave their illogical business practices and astronomical estimates on the curb where they belong.

They were very professional and helpful. I appreciate the updates sent via msg about the work done on my car. They fixed it as they told me and It was done 2 days before the expected date.. It looks like new, and they did a great job! The only issue is they broke a small plastic piece in the trunk when they reinstalled what they removed before...and it doesn't look good! But they orderd the replacement part as soon I told them...the service advisor Jake was nice and responsive, and said that this issue will be fixed quickly! So had to go back there to get it fixed . Also I was surprised to see how much it costs to fixe a small thing..I guess these are the rates here in north Austin..fortunately everything is paid off by the insurance!

Very slow and poor communication.I was in an accident and my insurance recommended caliber so I took my car here. It took 2.5 months to complete the repairs on a very common model of car and what I was told was a “routine rear end and suspension” repair. I understand supply chain problems and things can get delayed but that wasn’t the problem. It took 6 weeks from the time they told me they had all the parts delivered until it was done. The mechanic “found” more work that was needed….twice! It was a month past the initial estimated date when I finally got the car back. And for the last two weeks every day I called them (since they never messaged me) and every day I would get another excuse why it wasn’t ready yet and a “just one or two more days”. I will never use these clowns again.

Awesome crew they have, and polite. I had two vehicles fixed here and both were fixed properly and with detail. It's been close to two years with no issues and the paint is still like new.

My daughter was in an accident that resulted in front end damage. I chose Caliber Collision not knowing much about them, other than from the reviews. Sometimes that backfires but not in this case. They made the whole process pretty easy in that they were very communicative, friendly and the work done was excellent. I appreciate James and Daniel, and the rest of the staff at Caliber Collision for all of their good work and helping us navigate a stressful situation.

Brandon Goodman was my estimator and all the time he gave me updates over my car. Good communication and the work that was done was extremely great. I recommend caliber collision 620 to everyone I know. My car that came back was exactly like brand new.
