Buddy was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I really can’t recommend his services more highly!
My husband, after much pushing & prodding, made his initial appointment much too late into gala season & I felt certain the tux wouldn’t be completed in time. No worries- he’ll have a custom Italian tuxedo waiting for him in his closet for the next event! Buddy was understanding & attentive, setting clear expectations on timeline so that there would be no disappointment if it indeed couldn’t be completed in time for our rapidly approaching deadline.
Buddy was so helpful in offering selections that fit my husband’s personal tastes, body type, & overall aesthetic. He was very personable but always highly professional & customized not only the fitting but the entire process. He went out of his way to follow up closely with the Milan team & encourage a speedy delivery. Luckily, the tuxedo arrived days before our event & he was incredibly flexible to work with my husband’s complex schedule to receive him for a final fitting. The tailoring team was committed & worked quickly- the tuxedo was completed the evening before our event!
My husband looked smashing & the tux was just perfection! It was completely customized, made with high quality natural fabrics, & expertly crafted. I couldn’t be more pleased & definitely plan to refer clients & friends- Buddy was top notch! I look forward to an an excuse to buy another custom look!

My husband is a good ol fashion southern gentleman who when we first met, would not be caught dead in a suit. We have started going to more formal events and he finally caved admitting he needed a tux when we were invited to a black tie wedding. His request was that he had a black paisley jacket. He went to a few places that he thought would be able to sell him a tux, he had no luck. He came home frustrated and asked for help. I did some research. That’s when I found Capra & Cavelli. Everyone raved about ‘Buddy’ online. So I had my husband schedule an appt with him. We went in for a consultation and it literally could not have gone better. Buddy was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and soooooo personable. My husband instantly felt confident in the decisions he was making for his custom tux with Buddy by his side. We had the options to pick the fabric, cut, style, lining, etc. My husband got the suit that he was searching for & the quality & fit was unmatched. We went in for a fitting a month later and that suit fit him like a glove. His first words when he walked out of the fitting room were “I’m sorry I didn’t look this good at our wedding” (my husband refused to wear a suit for our wedding, so we compromised on a Nordstrom rack blue blazer and a pair of jeans). The suit is perfection. My husband looks like he belongs at the CMAs. We are so thankful to have found buddy and had him help guide us through the process.

Go see Buddy! I can’t say enough good things about Buddy. He is a consummate professional who is a master of his craft. When you are investing in garments like this there is a lot of trust that is required. There is no one else I would trust! He has outfitted me with many suits, jackets pants and a tuxedo or two over the last several years. Fluctuations in weight are no challenge for Buddy! He recently fitted me for a custom tuxedo for my wedding along with a jacket for the rehearsal dinner. They could not have turned out better and they are without a doubt the best articles of clothing I have ever owned. His attention to detail and the personal touches seem so effortless but that’s the genius of Buddy. Outgoing, fun and detail oriented! I often get compliments on his clothing and every time I say, do yourself a favor and just go see Buddy!

I can’t recommend Buddy enough. I came to him shopping for a tuxedo for my wedding and he took the time to really talk through exactly what I was looking for. He even gave me some things to look out for if I ended up shopping elsewhere, and advised me on the tux I ultimately purchased. He has a phenomenal knowledge of formalwear, what’s trendy versus timeless, and how things should be altered for the best fit. 10/10 experience.
