Before I start I do honestly understand it is hard to find good staff right now. Was sold incompatible SIM card and there's no returns so out $15 and still no working phone. The employee said this SIM would work. Boost's toll free tech support, after being escalated to a level 2 support employee, tech support said NOPE can't make that SIM work with our account. It's an unlocked Verizon phone so needs CDMA or Verizon flavor of SIM apparently according to Boost's toll free support people.The phone we brought in showed Verizon on the start up screen when the employee turned on the phone. Why sell us an ATT/GSM or whatever SIM when it's obviously an unlocked Verizon device?! Then she tried to tell us we had SIM tray upside down and that was why the SIM wouldn't go in. Well she flipped the phone over as soon as I handed her the phone and before I handed her the SIM tray. Had she kept it at the same orientation the SIM tray would've gone right in. Her tone was very condescending and this is not appreciated in a business setting.The rude employee was a younger slender hispanic woman with longer dark hair. She was rushing to get us out the door while someone in the backroom, manager maybe, was just chilling back there shouting back and forth with the employee in the front. Why did that employee not come help us so the young hispanic woman could take her lunch break or go pick up her kids or whatever the rush was? I do understand people need to leave work on time for obligations. This is where another employee needs to step up and cover the customer so that employee can leave on time.I was here trying to help a senior with disabilities get her phone working with Boost. Between Boost's telephone support and the SIM card fiasco at the store I'm very glad we learned early on how poor the customer service is with Boost overall. We bought a SIM card and service from RedPocket's eBay store instead. Cheaper per month, no contracts, SIM card works fine, and no run around spending 90 minutes with Boost's technical support people who are clueless. I do understand the store owner has nothing to do with the telephone support for Boost who are based overseas. But Consumer Cellular for example has their call center in the USA and Boost needs to do this too.

The employee had my new service working in about 30 minutes. I had been dealing with Boost customer service over the phone for six days without results. I went into this store and snap!!! He got them on the phone and gave them the information. My service was connected and I made my first call from this store.. Amazing.

-5 star, The local customer service charged me $30 for the service (esim) and the next day my cell phone does not work because the local employee configured it wrong, the esim does not work and I have to be without a signal until I have a new esim.
