Overall, not a bad experience living here! I would still continue to live here if it wasn't so far north.
Pros:
I lived in a studio apartment and it was a really great size for one person plus really affordable rent. Maintenance is really quick and responsive! I had a few issues like a water leak or a crack under my front door where bugs were coming in but they fixed both problems in a timely manner. Leasing office workers are very nice and helpful.
Cons:
Main issue I had were bugs. I don't blame anyone besides the unit needing some touch ups and cracks filled in. I did have a small baby roach problem but it has died down since getting pest control in. Lastly, the walls are very thin. I got used to the noise but you do hear upstairs stomping if you live on the first floor and anything and anyone outside your door.
Regardless, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend for anyone needing a starter apartment. Very affordable and safe.

Rounded up—would give 2.5.
I lived here for almost 2 years and have to say, the management staff could not be more kind and accommodating. Service requests are completed promptly and my partner and I always feel heard when we are sharing any issues we are facing in our unit. The pool and common areas are also always well maintained and a joy to use.
However; the bug problem is out of control. And let me be clear, the office has continuously sent pest control and done their part to try and help the issue, I think it is just beyond a pest service at this point. Because these apartments are older, there are many cracks in the walls and cabinets and it is incredibly hard to fully treat the problem. We have so many German cockroaches in our place it’s low key horrifying. We’ve done everything we can, both through Bexley’s pest services and our own treatment attempts but neither have been even remotely successful. This was a big reason for us deciding to move and not renew our lease.
Again, management really had made a good faith effort in attempting to resolve this problem. I just think major treatment and bug bombing needs to be done in order to take care of the pest issue.

I'm a former resident of Bexley at Tech Ridge and greatly enjoyed my time there. There are many amenities available, the office staff and maintenance staff are all very friendly and professional, and most importantly, the neighbors (at least mine) were quiet and respectful. It is genuinely an excellent community to live in!

Good: Maintenance is nice and pretty quick at getting things resolved.
Bad: Noise, noise, noise. I've been here for 3 years now, and it's been on and off with different neighbors. If the noise happens during business hours, they can do something about it. But if it's after hours, there is usually no attendant to actually address the issues, and 311 will be useless too. If you live in an apartment against Parmer Ln, you'll also hear all that lovely traffic. At least that I can get used to and ignore... Gate is frequently broken, which also lead to the catalytic converter on our car getting stolen last year.

While living at the Bexley, we experienced 4 leaks within a 10 month span, some in the same areas. The first couple of times, we thought yes, it happens, we live on the third floor, it’s unfortunate, but fine, we get it. The third leak was raising more concerns because, well why is this still happening? Shouldn’t this have been fixed the first couple of times?
Our fourth leak was the worst, following a heavy storm that occurred after heavy winds blew off the shingles on the roof of our apartment. The leak damaged the ceilings of both our bedroom closets, requiring us to remove all of our clothes and personal items. The water damage spread across the closets’ ceilings and walls, reaching adjacent walls touching our bathroom.
While this may be considered an “act of God” and would last until the rain would stop, what should not have been brushed over was the fact that the only solution the apartment could provide was a bucket to collect the water. No other action was taken except for a series of photos to document the damage. As a result, to no one’s surprise except for maybe everyone working at the Bexley, it didn’t take long for mold to begin growing in the closets. Mold could be found on all four walls of the closets, reaching the carpets. We believe this could have been prevented had the appropriate measures been taken to address the leak issue from the beginning.
However management is holding strong that it was an “act of God,” and could offer us no consolation to our situation.
Furthermore, no fixes could be made until contractors were able to come out, so we had to live with these conditions for weeks. When the contractors did finally come out, they were able to make repairs to the roof and replace both closet ceilings. When I inquired about other structures like the water-stained, cracked walls or the bulging door frame that was the main site for one of the leaks, the solution was to “sand it and paint over it.”
We broke our lease early knowing we did not want to continue living under these conditions, and I pity the new residents that have inherited our water-damaged apartment.

Bexley at Tech Ridge has been an excellent place to live during my time here, with very minor inconveniences (discussed below).
I’ll try to be as thorough as possible in case anyone uses reviews to decide where they lease (which you shouldn’t do, btw)
Staff: The leasing team has always been quick to respond to any emails/calls I leave them. There was a time the Luxor lockers were down due an internet outage and the team let me into the office at 8 am so they could help me get a package I needed before going to work when they didn’t open until 9. That is the story constantly for the team, Weinstein has done an excellent job with their property management staff.
Maintenance: Quick to get to issues, thoroughly take care of the problems, and are all very friendly. When they have stopped by while I’m home they are always ready to make light conversation, which is great. They also keep the breezeways extremely clean. It seems since they are on call during the weekend the compactor always begins to overflow, but it is handled before I’m home Monday evening.
Amenities: the gym, while small, has everything you could need. There isn’t much room for expanding the gym area, so no real complaints since there isn’t much that can be done.
The pool was out of service for a little, but it was during the winter so no one missed it. Always looks clean.
Package system: luxor is my favorite option by far, so I’ve been very happy with the package system.
There is a community garden, but I’ve never seen a slot become available (I also haven’t inquired into it so I’m not upset by that).
I think there’s also a car vacuum which I’ve only used once and it had a weak suction, but there is a car wash right down the road so it’s not a big deal.
I had a detached garage during my stay and it was very nice. I think $75/month is a bit steep, but considering you don’t pay to park in the general parking, understandable. I’ve never had to park super far even before getting the garage though.
I think I’ve used the clubhouse once and I’m pretty sure they have coffee stocked all the time.
Safety: I have never once felt unsafe in this location. It’s far away from inner Austin so you don’t have problems with homeless or car breakins. The front gate has been out of commission for most of my time here due to the City of Austin moving slow with permits (typical COA), so I can’t put a ton of blame on the apartments themselves.
Apartment: I see a LOT of reviews about roaches, but I have never seen these “infestations” people mention. Maybe building 1 is just lucky. We’ve had a couple here and there as well as some ants when it began to rain more, but overall nothing crazy. I’d even go so far as to say I’ve seen a less amount of pests/insects than most apartments I’ve lived in.
The 2 bed 2 bath I am in is phenomenal. The master bedroom is massive, a nicely sized island in the kitchen, and a balcony. There is no concrete layering, so you can expect to hear your upstairs neighbors walking around and your Nextdoor neighbors talking (or baby crying… every single night)
My BIGGEST complaint by far is the road. This is more so about the apartments facing the highway, but you can expect to never go a single night without hearing sirens as a fire station is right down the road. People always rev their engines all night as well. Nothing the apartment can do, but I would recommend signing for a more internal unit.
My only other complaint is Bexley has signed a contract with spectrum, so they are the only Internet provider you can get. I’ve spoken with employees at ATT & Google and both have let me know fiber is in this area.
All in all, while we are planning to not renew due to wanting to be closer to work, I would absolutely recommend Bexley at Tech Ridge to anyone looking to live on the outside of north Austin.

I’ll start off with this: if you like cockroaches, this is a great place for you.. otherwise would recommend avoiding. My fiancé moved here about two years ago. Initially it was a fine place. However it has significantly gone down hill since then. I moved in with him in September and wow that was a wrong move. The facilities and management do not seem to care about the quality of their property. The gate has been broken for months, there is constantly lone pieces of trash in the stairwells and hallways, and the nail in the coffin… roaches. It started a couple months ago, they sent pest control who sprayed and little around the kitchen which did absolutely nothing. We clean our dishes, we don’t leave trash out, the only “dirty” thing about our apartment is the fur from my dog I vacuum up constantly. I was so confused why we had this problem until I realized it wasn’t us, it was this complex. This is one of the worst things I’ve ever experienced. We have been fighting them ourselves for the last month. We have bait out around our apartment and my fiancé sometimes stays up at night hunting down their nests. He’s also had nightmares about cockroaches for the last couple of weeks…It is AWFUL. We are breaking our lease early just so we can get out here. I am worried for who ever moves into our apartment after us as they will likely still be dealing with the issue. I have zero confidence they will properly clean or bug bomb the apartment after we leave. So just… move somewhere else.

I feel that I am pretty fair when it comes to reviews, so here goes nothing. I give it a 2.5 out of 5 stars. To reference, I signed a 13mo lease.1) From the time I got my keys until now, I can't speak for the future. I've had cockroaches. I saw 4 cockroaches within 24 hours of moving in. I was told by the office that "thats surprising, I haven't heard anyone mention that". That had to be a lie because I asked a few neighbors around me and they were experiencing the same thing, cockroaches. Pest control only did so much. I still deal with them. I'm absolutely terrified and sometimes it would keep me up at night.2) The dirty corridors are not cleaned for several days. The hallways are gross! They smell, people leave their trash out which is most likely leaking. There are trash cans all over my hallways at the moment and its 10:37am on a Friday. I hate to bring people to my place because its absolutely disgusting.3) As for security, this is a separate issue; their gate broke several months ago, and they still haven’t fixed it. And this doesn’t make you feel safe in this condominium. can enter this condominium and steal cars or do something else, bad.4) The gym is very dirty and hasn't been cleaned for a long time. All dust and dirt.5) One of the advantages is parking. I never have issues with parking (except for one time I flew in super late).Too expensive for such a poorly maintained home.

Been here for about two weeks and already seen lots of roaches around our unit. The ceiling is also thin, or our upstairs neighbors just have heavy steps. We like how spacious the unit is though.

I enjoyed my Tour here today, I walked in and was warmly greeted by the leasing agent she asked me a few availability questions and took me on a tour of the exact unit I would be applying for and it was a nice apartment stainless appliances , in unit washer and dryer, hardwood floors in the common areas and affordable for Austin! It was a nice apartment but the community its self could dare to be a little cleaner. The only other issue I have I also seen a lot of reviews about roaches which is very concerning to me but that was not what I seen while touring so maybe the issue has been resolved I plan on getting more information soon! But it really does seem like a nice affordable community !

Assistant property manager is rude and seemed annoyed when a question was brought up. Does not feel welcoming.Gate is always damaged.Complex mandated valet trash that cannot be opted out of and cost is passed on to renters. Rent keeps going up with no upgrades to complex or units (complex was painted and cost was passed to renters). Look elsewhere. Once our lease is up we will find a place that feels like home and welcoming.11/10 update. No one has reached out to discuss issues. No email, call, or voicemail despite owner’s response.

I lived at Bexley for 10 months and we definitely recommend it. I wish we could stay longer but we are moving from Austin to further my education. Now that I'm looking for an apartment in a different city, I realize how spoiled I was here! Our unit was clean and updated. I always felt very safe and any maintenance issues were dealt with very promptly. At one point we had noise complaints from our neighbors and I feel that staff was helpful to the best of their capability and the issue was resolved. Really excellent pet-friendly community and my best apartment experience so far. I also really loved that they had a Peloton in the gym. The only long-term issue we had was trash; the trash compacter was frequently full or overflowing.
