Said my car battery was dead and insisted I needed a replacement.Refused to sell me the 'essential' replacement without a phone number and e-mail address. Somehow my refusal to provide a phone number magically healed my battery and my car has been running fine since.

I have a heavy duty truck that I put to work and since it’s diesel, it has two batteries. I’ve shopped with Batteries Plus for over 7 years and they have the best AGM batteries on the market. Came in last week during the freeze, suspected my batteries were shot and couldn’t remember exactly when I bought them. The helpful people at BP let me know how many cranking amps my batteries were putting out…clearly not enough to start the engine. And they were still under warranty, more than 4 years later. I did not have to buy a new of batteries! Instead, BP deep-cycle charged my current set for 72+ hours and I’m back on the road with each over 700 cranking amps. Thank you, Batteries Plus!

Asked employee the correct way to connect batteries in series, employee told me, he was just a batteries plus employee, that he didn't know, or need to know how to do that. He just sold batteries. The batteries did not have handles, making them hard to carry, employees never offered any help in carrying to truck. You can get a battery there, just no real service.

They charge for recycling batteries. $1.20 a pound. The staff was very friendly, not their fault, but it seems redic to pay to recycle when there are free city wide recycle events. 3 stars goes to the company.

I started buying all of my vehicle batteries here two years ago in hopes of supporting a specialty store. Unfortunately when one started having issues, they failed to honor their own warranty process. Despite the policy stating they would have two days to work on a battery during a claim, they held mine for six days. I called repeatedly to check and was told by an employee the battery had failed. When I came to pick it up, he said he had just tested it again, and it was fine. Very suspicious. Generally bad customer service throughout the process and very disappointed they would not honor their warranty. I will never use them again.

Got my car battery replaced today. Great, fast service. They even recommended the coffee shop next door as a good place to wait. Had to take most of my coffee home with me, they were so fast.

I like the store and battery selection, however recent experience not so wonderful. They seem unwilling to honor battery warranty. I purchased car battery here 2 years ago. Car was struggling to start. Brought car here to check the battery. They agreed the battery was low but suggested the alternator may not be working properly and urged us to have dealer check the alternator. After $115 diagnostic charge at car dealer, the auto mechanic said the battery was very low and the alternator was fine. They offered to replace the battery, but I declined because the battery is under warranty. So, returned to this batteries plus store and they didn't believe the dealer's diagnosis and wanted to keep the battery overnight to do further testing on the battery. This was ridiculous. I ended up taking to different batteries plus location where they confirmed the battery was dead and replaced the battery there no questions asked. This location on 620 in Cedar Park should have just replaced the battery under warranty but, instead, wanted to delay the process unnecessarily.

I called them twice before taking my tablet to them. I gave them all of the information and explained that I already had the replacement battery. I drove there and was extremely rudely told that they could not do it and was told that they wouldn't do it anyway even if they could if I wasn't buying the part from them. I was made to feel like I was lying about calling ahead and his demeanor was unnecessarily aggressive.

About 25 years ago, I purchased my first mobile phone. It was a flip phone that displayed the time in a tiny window when it was closed. Of course it was cool and I was too! I was also that guy who no longer needed to wear a timepiece. Fast forward to Spring 2023, and It was time for some home cleaning. I opened up an old box I found in the closet and there were my watches. They truly brought back so many memories when I found them. Each one has a very special meaning from a special period in my life. Over the last month I decided to start wearing my watches again. I took the one that is the most important to me to Batteries Plus, for new life. I was so pleased with the value, friendly service and efficiency that I've taken my other watches in too. Now I wear a timepiece just about every day and I don't have to grab my phone out of my pocket for the time anymore. It really is nice to just turn your wrist over for the time of day. "Everything old becomes new again."
