Very small but clean room. Super functional setup. Location is just ok for business on Camp Mabry. Grab and go breakfast with a hot sandwich was surprisingly good. I do recommend.

Son had an event at nearby school so picked this hotel based on price and location. Cold ac and felt beds were so comfortable! Better than some 4 and 5 star hotels I've been to. Gym was enough. Breakfast is very basic, the kind you'd have rushing out of the house to work. No fresh eggs, breakfast meats, even out of toast but had coffee, c yogurt, cereal, granola bar. Enough to get you to a better brunch or lunch. Will definitely come back. Btw, very friendly staff.

I regularly stay here while on business in the area and find that the accommodations are perfect. Everything I need... and nothing I don't need. In my most recent stay, Sheree was amazing, acting with true professionalism and genuine kindness on the phone prior to my arrival and throughout my three-night stay. My work requires a lot of travel, and this is one of very few affordable hotels that I don't dread having to stay in.Rooms: Neat, clean, and no nonsense.Safety: Well lit and secure parking area.Food & drinks: Great coffee!!!

Raven at the Front desk was amazinggggg!!! I had an incident with a hold being placed on my card (not the hotel fault) Bt for a full week she assisted me and gave me all the info that she could even went as far as emailing me info she thought I could use! The friendly smile alone makes want to continue visiting not only this location Bt all Avid locations. Thanks Raven, your awesome ❤️

Staff was awesome. Great location. Everything was less then 20 away. Weekend with the buddies so they put up with our shenanigans. Only complaint it breakfast. It's grab and go which I guess works but seems big enough for a waffle maker or something

Stayed here last night and had to leave first thing in the morning. I was trapped in for three days. They are infested with bedbugs so beware.!!!!! Brought it up to the front desk and they did nothing but just look at me with this face like OK so what do you want me to do about it?

I planned to stay at the hotel for business , but after seeing the video and response from management, I will not be staying due to the racial profiling I was just being made aware of.

At this particular location it is evident that the manager, Jose, and front desk assistant, Kelly, lacked professional customer service skills. Not only were they unhelpful and indifferent to guests' needs, but their behavior towards African American guests was downright discriminatory.I witnessed Jose and Kelly treating African American guests differently, displaying clear signs of racial bias. It was disheartening to see such behavior in this day and age. As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of race or ethnicity.To make matters worse, the franchise owner's response to the discrimination allegations is appalling. Instead of addressing the issue head-on, they attempt to deflect blame by insinuating that the woman who was discriminated against has a disability. This not only showed a lack of accountability but also demonstrated how unprofessional the franchise owner is.In conclusion, my experience at Avid Hotel was marred by the unprofessionalism and discrimination displayed by Jose, Kelly, and the franchise owner. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until serious steps are taken to address these issues and improve the overall customer experience.
