They are wonderful, attentive, and have fair pricing! I was previously with another vet who grossly overcharged. I'm very happy at Urban Vet. My dog's doctor is very knowledgeable, and has helped keep my pet healthy. I highly recommend urban vet, they are the best!

Janet was extremely informative and helped relieve my anxiety about my two year old cat's early dental issues. Most offices will jump right into "let's schedule an appointment to talk further", but she took the time to thoroughly answer my questions about cat dental cleaning. I learned a lot from just one short conversation. Right away, I can tell this office cares. Thank you, Janet!

I love the fact that they have a separate waiting room for cats, such a thoughtful thing that goes a long way. Additionally they have been really helpful working through what to prioritize for my pets care and were very insightful

Easy to schedule, very informative. I love that the veterinarians follow up via email about test results! They also have a separate area for cats which is appreciated because mine get nervous around dogs in the waiting room.

I have been using this vet since I got my dog a little under two years ago, and I am so sad to be leaving them (due to me moving). I trust this staff so implicitly. They have taken such excellent care of my dog, for everything from vaccines to urgent care appointments for rashes or lumps and bumps. Dr. Study especially has a special place in my heart for seeing us for an urgent appointment during the "mystery dog illness" era. She offered a variety of treatment and test options, allowing me to choose more of a wait-and-see approach with antibiotics versus doing X-rays and expensive bloodwork. They are very understanding of budgets, and they always make my dog feel safe and me feel heard. I also really love that you can text them as well, so if you have a quick question or need to make an appointment asap, you can reach out that way. Special shout out to the front desk staff for always responding to my texts/calls with complete professionalism and amazing timeliness.

Hi - I started with Austin Urban with my amazing girl dog :) who has since passed away :( We came only for acupuncture as the previous vet was much closer. Dr Rivera and Dr Helen were both amazing dealing with my feisty girl. They also provided superior care in reading her tests and communicating with me about the status of her kidney disease. Not an easy job, but I appreciated both the care/concern and expertise in communicating realistic expectations. Not all vets strike that balance. Dr Helen also suggested in-home care for my baby's last day and that was the best solution for us.
Now, that it is my beautiful boy dog and I. We are coming to Austin Urban for his primary/complete care. I feel much more confident with knowing what is going on with him and in Dr Helen's advice/recs, I also appreciate as he is a senior pup that Austin Urban offers acupuncture etc as options.
Very happy with the switch from my past vet . Only challenge is that it is a bit far from my home - but also worth it. Thank you both, Dr Helen and Dr Rivera.
