I have been using Austin Tax and Bookkeeping for personal taxes as well as business bookkeeping and taxes & I could not recommend them more. Ashley and Ernesto are very responsive courteous and knowledgeable in their fields.

I'm a small business owner and have had TERRIBLE luck with accountants until I found Ernesto. He was clear, direct and 100% honest with me (something I have yet to find in any of the previous three accountants I had) and his staff were great. I was super happy with the service he provided and he'll be handling my accounting and tax needs from here forward.

Funny, called to ask for some general question to qualify if this firm is worth to work with. An arrogant woman told us that we have to schedule a consultation with the owner and it cost $250. We tell her we need the non-tax question answered before committing to anything, then she told us that usually is they QUALIFY their client, NOT THEIR CLIENT QUALIFY THEM, so WE ARE NOT A GOOD FIT...

My husband and I have had a terrible experience with Ernesto and this firm. Unresponsive and disconnected. Ernesto was hired at a whopping $375/month to handle books and taxes, and still filed for extensions! Among several other complaints, filing extensions when he's charging that high of a fee is enough of a red flag.

Ernesto is extremely knowledgeable and his staff are really responsive and friendly. He is one of the very few CPAs I can recall interacting with who truly wants to help people.
