I initially set up an appt to see a car they had online. Unfortunately that car was no longer available. Anthony showed me a couple of different cars but they just didn't work. He called me a few days later to check if I had any questions or changed my mind. I told him that I really was just interested in the Legacy model. He then said to give him some time and he would see what he could find. Mins later I receive a text with a video with the car I wanted AND was still technically brand new with low miles!!! He went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted and within my budget. My experience was amazing, Anthony took the time to listen to what I was looking for and he delivered.

This Subaru location has a great selection of used cars. I worked with Doug M. and would highly recommend him!!! He was knowledgeable and patient while helping me shop for a used vehicle. He went above and beyond allowing me to test multiple vehicles over a few days and finally got me in the best car for me.

We bought our OUTBACK from Austin Subaru in 2017 & have it regularly serviced there since. We brought it in for a problem in early September for diagnosis. They found the problem & fixed it. WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

I dropped the car off for routine service expecting they would have several recommendations and would need to keep the car for a few days. I was pleased when they reported that no extra work needed to be performed. Their under-the-hood videos are a great way to communicate details of the work that needs to be performed. Austin Subaru is trustworthy and does a good job with their customer service.

Sept 2024 review:
Make sure to get your ECM software update before 100k miles or else they will charge you $100 for not knowing that you had to ask for it to be updated.
I still despise this dealership. Was told they recommend changing the “lifetime” fluid CVT and diff fluid every 30k, but for whatever reason this was never done on my vehicle when it was under warranty. Then got told by the service advisor that the recommend fuel filter (in warranty and maintenance manual), does not get serviced anymore, to leave it alone despite the manual recommending its replacement.

3rd time bringing my vehicle in for the same issue within 7 weeks. Specifically scheduled my first appointment to have a loaner vehicle then when I get there they technician said those weren’t available for months. I explained to him that’s why I waited a month for that appointment and he didn’t care. They offered me a Lyft ride instead. Two of the times I had to pay for my own rideshare. First time was because the website is incompatible with certain phones. Second because they failed to send me the information for the person who schedules the rides, and I needed my ride to work (8AM) before they were open. The only fairly costed maintenance is an oil change. Everything else is robbery.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Design team for a Trailer Hitch Installation on my 2020 Forester. Shelby was great in helping me out with the details and appointment. When I took delivery of the car I noticed a minor rattling noise. The two design team members David and Hector did everything they can to fix the noise issue. This was end of day on a Friday, but the team went out of the way doing test drives and jacking up the car to identify and resolve the issue, which they did. Thank you Design Team! Now I get to do the fun part like towing my motorcycle around.

I took my Outback in with a dead battery. The service man told me that though my battery was a few months out of warranty, Subaru was extending it to cover a new battery. Because the dealer was out of batteries and waiting on a new shipment, they gave me a loaner while they waited on the battery shipment. It would have been very inconvenient for me if they had not done so. Thank you, Austin Subaru for going beyond for me.

I had to take my car in for one problem (or so I thought) and, of course, there were about five other problems. I am in the final stages of cancer treatment, which has drained me financially in a huge way, so the total bill significantly overwhelmed me. My service advisor, Ariel De Jesus, was an angel in disguise.
I used to take my car into Subaru Georgetown but, after several bad run-ins, I decided to try my hand at Subaru Austin. Best decision I could have made for myself. I explained to Ariel that I get routine maintenance done at Georgetown but, since their computer systems don't talk to each other, it wasn't readily known that I had already taken care of some of these issues. My car is also under warranty but, since I don't speak car or speak warranty, Ariel helped me navigate this whole process. She even reached out to Subaru of America to see if they could help with the cost of some of the parts I needed.
This was such a stressful time for me, but Ariel was so kind and her smile was so warm. I truly felt taken care of and like everything was going to be okay. She did more to help me than I could have ever expected and this will go down as a truly unforgettable experience for me.
Subaru Austin also offers a complimentary Lyft ride home and back to the dealership (if you live within 60 miles I believe) and that process was unprecedented for me and seamless. I had my car back the next day and was greeted with kindness with every interaction from every staff member.

Great first time experience! From the friendly service people to the humorous video of my car’s inspection I was thoroughly pleased. It was busy and they told me I could have free Uber rides (!) but they finished 30 minutes earlier than their original estimate. Good coffee, too! I’m so glad I bought a Subaru!

I took my Forester in for a routine oil change, and Morgan did a great job keeping me informed about the wait time and where my car was in the process. The waiting area is very comfortable, with free coffee and snacks provided, should you want them. Austin Subaru always makes me feel like I’m part of the family, and I appreciate that.
