Don't bother with Youtube DIY troubleshooting on big keyboards. Just drop the money, save a ton of time, stress and risk, and just have Eli do the work. Really nice guy too.

Absolutely the best in service and detail on fixing my Yamaha keyboard, I’ve been playing piano for over 42 years I must say he is the best! I’m 3 hours away so shipping via UPS to get it repaired was a piece of cake!! Terry, Texas USA!

Eli is a wizard. But he ain't cheap. Labor is basically $100 an hour. However, the mark-up on his parts is little or nothing. And he's the best electronic instrument repair tech I've ever known. He's that rare gem you find one in a lifetime - like the perfect bandmate or a restaurant that never lets down. He's super fast. He's great at communication and honest about the repairs. This includes getting into, sourcing parts, timeline for repairs, and what he can and can't do. I've taken several items to him. And I drive up and back from San Antonio to drop them off and pick them up. Some of items I had "repaired" by another company and they screwed them up. One of items with a the bad "repair" I tried to fix and completely broke it. Eli was able to get that item (Kaoss Pad) working perfectly, he fixed my other bad "repairs" and my other damaged synth. He's worth the high labor rate, he's worth the 90 minute one-way drive. As long as he's doing repairs, he's my guy. If you're serious about needing your gear fixed right, this is the place.

Eli is the best keyboard repair in Austin with super fast service and he is very knowledgeable in all types of keyboards and other electronics including V-drums. Highly recommend!

My Korg M3 was suffering from a faulty touch screen rendering the machine near useless. Eli installed a new screen and addressed a couple other issues. His communication was excellent with multiple texts, photos and video of the repair process. The repair didn't take too long and all is now working. It's great to have the old keyboard up and running again!

All around awesome experience at Austin Keyboards Repair! I had an old Roland AX-1 keytar that I busted a key on and needed for a gig in about 10 days. I brought it to Eli and not only did he have the broken key in stock, he also did a full refurb on it! When he opened it up he also found a broken potentiometer and corrosion on the 9v connection wires. He was able to get it all fixed and ready to go within 24 hours. Communication was also excellent with multiple texts and pics and the price was fair. Best keyboard repair experience I've ever had! So lucky I found him.I will definitely be coming back if any of my other boards need servicing.

Eli is cordial, knowledgable and effective.I would not hesitate to consult him if you have any concerns about a keyboardI was trying to figure out how to tell if the subpar sounds on a Roland keyboard were as the manufacturer intended, or if they indicated that my keyboard was defective. Eli explained how I could determine that.Indeed, when I found the FRP 1 set up in the store yesterday I could verify the former.

Have known Eli for many years. His skills and knowledge on keyboards are 2nd to none, and has amazing turn around time. Had my keyboard fixed up in a matter of days. Highly recommended, don't take your keyboard anywhere else!
