So, a resounding "yes" a few years ago to just an eternal "no" now. How did it get that way? A beautiful soul was corrupted by a Neo-Nazi. It happens. It's always sad, but evil has its charms, I guess. I'm into this place for thousands, AND THEY DO GREAT WORK! Still, the inclusion of a violence-first a-hole in a position of power is unacceptable.

So there USED TO BE a thrift store here, but they got so many kids for their developmental disabilities program that they no longer have room for the thrift store. So if you come looking for a thrift store, you'll not find it here. But 5 stars for what they are, which is a great place for kids with disabilities to learn and interact.

The store is small, and full of neat things. Something for everyone. Hidden in the back, once you visit you will not forget where it's at.

Spent the day thrift shopping in South Austin and came across The Austin Harmony Project. The 2 buildings were full of people with special needs singing and dancing - it was really joyful! Not a typical store or a ton of shopping finds - but they did have art made by their clients. Money well spent.

just FYI -- Yelp lists this place as open until 5pm, but I showed up at 4:30 to see a "closed" sign. There are no current hours posted for October.

While driving to the Manchaca Library, I noticed a small neon green sign that said "25 cent sale this way" with an arrow pointing at this small quaint thrift store. As I walked in I noticed bins separated by size all in a row in the middle of the room. I was greeted by a super smiley volunteer that welcomed me and explained that everything in the bins was 25 cents. Heck yeah! You don't have to tell me twice. I ended up walking away with about $8 worth of clothing that ranges from dresses to even a leather oversized jacket! The volunteer explained to me that the Austin Harmony Project is a non-profit that enriches lives of adult with developmental disabilities. Knowing this made me walk to the other side of the shop and get the 2-3 items I doubted I needed. Come to this thrift store and you will be surprised at the quality of the donations received as well as contribute to a local community that is changing lives one day at a time.

This is a great thrift store with quality items priced like a thrift store should be. It is very clean the money goes to the adults with disabilities they deal with the art work as well as everything else you can expect. The store is run by donations organic soap , I had just notice it and what a gem hidden in the corner off of Stassney Rd. It does not smell and it was very clean.

Seriously?! Why have I not been here before?! Because it is a hidden gem!! This place is out of this world fantastic. I stopped in today because I saw a sign that said 50% off. Of course I had to see what it was. I bought 2 blazers at $1 a piece and a $3 bottle if handmade organic soap. This place has hand made pieces of art work starting at $5. All of the proceeds from the art and the store go to the individuals who make the art. I am just amazed at this place and will be coming back as often as I can. :)
