ALOT of their plants had spider mites.but they did have a good deal on roses.i just wish they had a stronger scent

I was on a hunt for lilacs and being very uneducated about plants I had no idea they’re not common around here. I called so many places looking for them and finally found them here. Was able to get a few bunches and some willow to create a beautiful arrangement for which I am very grateful. However, I did not realize the lilacs were incredibly immature (I’ve never seen them before) and not even close to flowering, and they never did. They died as buds even with regular daily water changes and stem trims. Grateful to have had them but I think it’s poor business practice to sell such an expensive flower flown in from out of state when it isn’t mature enough to flower before it dies.

I’m just gonna go out on a limb and say that this place must only cater to the wholesale customer because it is definitely not a good experience as a person who occasionally buys flowers. And with the amount that is getting charged for these flowers this shop should not look like trash, but here I am going to a big box retailer to buy flowers instead of a local shop but then again I guess I was only buying $60 worth of flowers compared to these other people that buy hundreds, so I really don’t matter in the big scheme of things

Coming here is always such a great experience. The cooler is full of flowers of all kinds, the smell is amazing. The staff are great. It's where to come for flowers!

My wife does wedding arrangements and birthday parties. We have used Austin Flower Co for many years and have usually received great service. The quality of the flowers are also usually very good. Unfortunately, today was very disappointing. We have reserved flowers many times before. Apparently, they do charge a $13 fee to reserve roses and only roses. This normally wouldn't be a problem if this is how they want to run their business, but they did not inform us before hand over the phone when we placed an order. They don't do this fee for any other flower so this caught us by surprise. This caused us to go over budget and we do not have time to find an alternative source now.

I used to come here often because of the price and the their customer service. Sad to say, like many other Austin businesses, this place went downhill. I bought $75 worth of flowers. Their workers were not polite or helpful at all. I definitely will not be coming back.
