Do not recommend to work with them. I was trying to get a rate quote from Nancy. She was rude and didn’t answer customer questions. It is better off to work with another lender

Ms Ying Zhou has been very patient when introducing me to all the details that I would like to know. The total date to close was 14 days and that was very fast compared to other lenders. The overall rate was competitive and service was smooth and prompt.

Austin First Mortgage offers the best loan rates everywhere you can find on earth. I have been using and working with them for years on closing many properties. They always respond promptly with what you need. They work hard in a very professional way, never missed a deadline or never disappointed you. Just sharing my past experience here. You will get the same feeling if you choose to use them.

I have several finance and refinance experience with Austin First Mortgage. Generally their rate is good and can close the loan pretty fast. Only one time the experience is not so good is that an appraiser they used under estimate a house value by about 20%, which cost me having to put huge amount of my downpayment. This might not be entirely the fault of AustinFirst Mortgage, but they could use some experienced appraiser. Hope they can learn the lesson. The appraiser's name was Dobson whom I will never use again.

My broker is Ying zhou, she is very great and amazing. She just spent 2 weeks to finish all paperworks and closed it. Most of all, she helped me to find the lowest rate on that time. I compare several broker, her rate is lowest. She work hard and very responsible to every customer. She is very efficently, and repied me every message on time and gave me the prove letter very quicly. Because of her help, I got my dream house two month ago. She helped me save lots of money. I also recommended her to my friends who want to buy house. I also really appreciate Austin First Mortagage. If I buy second house, I still will choose Ying zhou.

Buying a home is rewarding, but it can be a stressful process. Luckily we choose the Austin First Mortgage and it turned out a best choice. The Credit Analyst Ying Zhou was so professional and responsible. Knowing it was our first time to buy a house, she helped guide us and took the time to answer all of my questions with lots of patience. We had a smooth closing and highly recommend Austin First Mortgage.

Very competitive rate and excellent service as well. They closed my loan smoothly. All the loans require a lot of document, so just be patient and follow the instructions exactly.

First off, their rate is very competitive. But be ready with bad service and lack of communication. We closed in almost 90 days. First 60 days, we uploaded Loan application and many documents. Locked in rate. Didn't hear for 60 days. Kept trying to reach them. Their main phone number - a receptionist who doesn't know anything got unfriendly and just transferred me to a voicemail. Nobody ever called me back. I called direct phone number of the person sssigned to me. Her phone said "this mailbox is full. Goodbye". Could never leave a voicemail on her phone. When I emailed them, there was hardly any responses once I paid them $500 to start the process. I prayed they really processed our refi. Otherwise I lost $500 The last 15 -20 days the person kept emailing us wanting this, that, although many documents we already uploaded in their system. And always hurrying us up.. .. I need this ASAP.. ..need that ASAP.... First she said would close in 2 weeks. Then suddenly on Thursday night emailed me saying wanna close on Saturday morning. Well, I didn't open my email till Friday afternoon and I wanna review the numbers she put together to make sure nothing was wrong. We are not talking small amount when it comes to refi house. I emailed her saying "can we close on Monday?" She said nope .. rate gonna expire. Well, if they didn't drag their feet the first 60 days, rate wouldn't have expired. Until Friday night, I still didn't know where the title office is. We normally go title office to close. It turned out Saturday morning the person from title company called to setup closing time at our house. Even after closing, we still got an email from this mortgage company, asking my Company HR was I still employed ? Then they emailed asking if my house was damaged in Feb winter storm, sent them pictures of our house and signed declaration our house wasn't damaged. They stay true to their quoted numbers but the pain , lack of communications and disorganization make me hesitate to use them again. Only go if you are ok with very little communication

The mortgage process was OK. After that, they sold my mortgage to another loaner and did not update the information to the insurance company. The consequence was that the new loaner could not receive the bill from the insurance company and did not pay. I had to pay extra $1000 for no insurance because of their fault.

Buyer paid for a rush appraisal, appraiser was there for 1.5 hours and measured every exterior and interior wall and also took many pictures. Then two days later we hear the Appraiser refused and couldn't do the appraisal. So now we do not have a close date! This has placed an emotional and financial stress on both the seller and the buyer
