My mini schnauzer mix is not the type of dog that loves a big play group and at past day cares she goes in a bit begrudgingly but not here!!!! She is very excited and loves it! I can tell they care for her really well and she comes home exhausted. We also use their grooming services and they do a nice job

We have a Great Dane and started private training at 4 months. Julie suggested we try group trainings and have been going for over a year and a half. She knows what puppies need and help them progress into wonderful young adults. We started with the beginner class and then did a few more of the classes. We have been doing Rally recently and will continue doing classes with Julie to keep our dogs and ourselves mentally and physically agile.

My blue heeler LOVES this place. He's been going 2-3X a week for about a month. The staff clearly care for each and every dog. My pup comes home exercised, but not overly tired. I wouldn't trust our fur baby with anyone else.

I came here about a year ago and quit after a few classes. This is not a force free trainer (just so you’re aware what you’re getting into). I knew this going in but thought it would be good to do basic obedience regardless of the method. But then I was too uncomfortable to return.I saw the trainer spray dogs in cages with water and yell at them to get them to stop barking while they waited for the owner to pick them up.My second or so class, the trainer took my dog to show how to force her into a heel. My dog, who is wary of strangers, was extremely uncomfortable and desperate to get back to me and then jumped on the trainer. Big mistake apparently. The trainer was ROUGH, continuously leash popping and yanking her down to the floor. All this did was continue to agitate my dog which, in turn, resulted in worse behavior like more jumping on the trainer and pulling away, towards me. My dog was the most nervous I’ve ever seen her with a stranger, continuously trying to just get away from this person and NOT understanding what the trainer was asking her to do at all. The trainer was also extremely agitated, almost angry, about my dogs behavior and told me she was misbehaving on purpose. For a beginners obedience class, the trainer seemed upset at dogs that were misbehaving, which is bizarre given the context. Overall the entire experience made me feel guilty for my dog and extremely uncomfortable and we didn’t return.

Austin Canine is great. They were able to get my pip's nails clips and set up another appointment to help keep them nice. I also discussed issues I had with my pup on the leash and they helped me with that too. Also the price is right!

This place was fantastic. I especially want to thank Julie and her super generous dedicated trainers/"students" (hard to call them students...they looked like trainers with their well behaved dogs!) who stayed late to help get my ol' girl Magz tested as a Good Canine Citizen. Magz has advanced arthritis...rescued her from Class Canines at the Austin Animal Center at age 10. At age almost 14, she has very bad elbows and hips. Julie went beyond the call of duty to proactivity inquire about testing options approved by the AKC for senior dogs who have slow and limited mobility. Most facilities would have taken my money over and over again to train a dog who finds it hard to get into certain positions. But not this school...they immediately asked if I wanted to try the test and I was delighted. Magz passed with flying colors. (She followed directions better than me. LOL.) Thank you Julie and your dedicated students! Magz gives you four paws up!

Awesome place!!We take our Silky Celeste there for both obedience training and doggy day care. Miss Julie is a phenomenal doggy and doggy parent teacher. We've done basic and beyond basic classes and are eager to continue Celeste's learning. In addition, we take Celeste normally 2 times a week to doggy day care. It's very affordable and they're flexible with pick up and drop off times. The staff is great!

Has incredibly nice staff and a large indoor air conditioned space for the dogs to play in. They take care in matching dogs that like to play together.

Friendly, pleasant facility.Jolynne's dog handling class is a fabulous opportunity for both dogs and handlers to gain experience in the basics of handling and showing dogs in the ring. She's knowlegable, respectful and very good at instilling both handler skills and confidence in the dogs. She's a valuable resource to tap into if you want to learn about showing dogs.
