While being at a hospital is oftentimes not for very joyful experiences, small spots like this can help brighten up the day of both patients and visitors alike. There is a wide variety of different items available for gifts, comfort, and even a soda machine, coffee, and refrigerated food items in case you need something close and quick.The real reason MVP of the offerings, however, are the Tyler Candles. Made here in Texas (Tyler, TX, of course), the hospital gift shop offers a great selection of both fragrances and different products. I have special memories buying these candles all of the way up in Minnesota with my grandmother - it was cool to buy Tyler Candles when your name is Tyler, you know? But being in a place of high stress and emotion, smelling some of those familiar scents brought me to a very tranquil place.Thanks, St. David’s/Atrium Gift Shop for the opportunity to reflect and relive fun memories.

They have a great variety and the staff/volunteers are always professional and pleasant. I enjoying coming in here for my midnight treats (I work overnight and they come in handy)!

Wasn’t expecting much given it’s a hospital gift shop, but I was pleasantly surprised. Good selection and a friendly staff, they managed to make a not so great day just a little bit better for me :)

All the way from San Antonio for wife's brain surgery, might I add went very well! Then coming across this gem was a definite plus! Amazing collectibles, comics, etc. I was able to get my wife a gift as well as myself a little something, the Kotobukiya Marvel Now Wolverine! Amazing piece to my collection! You must pay them a visit! Looking forward to our next trip to Austin as this is a stop I'm going to make for sure!

Who Knew? In the St. David's Hospital Gift Shop, you will find Austin's best keep secret! They carry a diverse collection of comic books, and collectibles at reasonable prices. Check it out!.

The staff is incredibly helpful, and when Scott realized they didn't have the graphic novel I wanted, he had it shipped to the store within 24 hours despite my own inability to find it anywhere in the Austin area. I'll definitely be returning as frequently as possible.

The best, and most friendly staffed comic book store in Austin. What makes them unique is the affirmation and knowledge that you are getting the best selection. Located right inside St. Davids Hospital, I'm surprised that they aren't as busy as they should be. I highly recommend it, especially if you're hunting for unique variant issues and hard to find collectables. Ask for Scott, he will take care of you.
