“Amazing! So amazing we went back the next day. The people that work there were super nice and friendly also informative. They have a ton of great things not only books. We walked out with a decent amount of books and such. She even found a shirt I was looking for in my size. If we lived in Austin, I know we would be there all the time.”
“Flavio Ramos and his team at Mindzai Print Shop are the best....their followup and attention to detail is second to none. I live in the Chicago area and could just as easily use local print shops. For many years now I have chosen to go to Mindzai....why? Because they provide exceptional customer service and quality work.”
“I love AFTP so much! They truly offer up local artists of all kinds. Very inclusive. They are fun, the art is affordable. I’m in love with the blown glass cups & glasses. AFTP feels like the real Austin, Tx.”
“I’ve framed several concert posters with DTW, the team is so talented and helpful, and their selection of frames and glass + expertise makes this incomparable based on my experience. You get what you pay for y’all, these guys make it come to life”
“Super friendly people, lots of interesting art. I went to see a showing of Nick Veasey and it was great. The gallery is fairly large with art from a range of artists.”
“I took my daughter in to get a tattoo for her 18th bday from Megan and as always, Megan absolutely killed it. Very professional, great artist and just an amazing human being. The shop was very clean and organized and the rest of the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this shop and particularly Megan”
“Both the glass and my mind were blown. There is something really special about instructors that are able to help people with zero glass blowing experience make some incredible pieces.
I would recommend dressing lightly as it's referred to as a "hot shop" for a reason. Additionally, I would recommend getting to your activity early so that you can become familiar with the space and really focus on the safety talk as well as the explanations of possible interactions between colors.
Risa is great at what she does and is very good at communicating throughout the process to help your artistic vision come together in glass form! Grisha instructed us as well and was able to make everyone feel comfortable and safe in the shop.
TLDR: I would recommend a class to anyone looking to try something uniquely fun and make some lasting memories.”

“This store and staff are amazing here! My friend wanted to show me a cool toy shop in ATX last year around March. To be open, when I first went my inner child lit up and my adult self was glad I found this amazing gem in Austin! I didn’t know it would only get better! When I was there the they ran out of the plushie I wanted. The staff actually put my name on a list. Here were are now, and I had a voice mail from Alexa that the item was in the store! When I called back Ashton was more than willing to confirm the item was still in stock and he would be more than willing to hold it for me. They were so kind and polite. The environment and aura of this place and the people is pure joy. What customer or consumer doesn’t love impeccable customer service! This place is the 8th wonder of the world!”
“Petra and her team at Collected Co were such professionals to work with. They were quick to respond to all my texts/emails, friendly, honest, and patient. I felt they were actually listening to me as opposed to just trying to decorate based on their agenda. Highly recommended!”
“We found a number of nice things. The people could have been nicer. The young sales people were ok, but the older lady there was clerly not happy we were shopping there.”
“What a wonderful place!! I took my girlfriend here for a pottery making date, and it was a super fun time. We both made 3 pieces each, and got to decorate them as well. Our teacher, Kelly, was awesome and incredibly helpful. She’s really passionate and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and now we want to keep making pottery!”
“A great gathering spot for art appreciation and socializing at openings. So many wonderful pieces for all budgets including musician makers and outsider artists.”

5000 N Lamar Blvd, Austin“The vibes of this place feel off... there was a big patch of empty space in the store without any shelves or displays. The art for sale in the gallery is a bit overpriced for digital prints, though it's not unexpected considering the artist only gets to put one print up and have it up for a long time. I was about to leave the store when I found a cool toy line consisting of animals you can take apart into anatomical meat pieces. If I didn't find such a cool unique thing I probably would've labeled this place as a rather average run of the mill anime figurine store.”
“Todd Sanders really knows his neon. He creates beautiful neon artwork and his store/ gallery is iconic. Modern vintage. The work shown here is timeless. One day I will own a piece from here (hopefully!)”

10900 Lakeline Mall Dr Ste 100, Austin“Kirklands is the best! Many of us in Pflugerville were so sad when the Pflugerville location closed. Kirklands has always been one of my go to places for clients & for myself. Since the other locations are too far I may shop online.”
“The artist's unique eye for composition creates stunning visual narratives that truly captivate the viewer. Their use of color and light is masterful, evoking a sense of emotion and depth in each image. The unconventional angles and framing choices add an intriguing element to their work, showcasing a level of creativity that sets them apart from others in the field. Overall, their compositions are nothing short of brilliant, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who views their photographs.”

916 Springdale Rd BLDG 2 #107, Austin“My wife and I recently purchased artwork from Ivester Contemporary. What impressed us both the most was the owners knowledge of art, his passion for supporting the artists featured in the gallery and his unmatched kindness and compassion.I will buy art from Kevin time and time again!”
“I love walking around the streets in Austin and that promenade usually takes me to the Visual Arts Center. I must say every time I go in I'm like a kid at a candy store. There is always something new to see and explore and the staff really let you enjoy the art work in peace but are there if you have any questions. I admit some pieces I look at them two, three times before admitting my artistic eye needs help deciphering the artist's goal. But that's art!It really does stand a cultural hub for all in Texas and visitors. Also, it's free so how can you say no to that! Thanks!”
“Lovely remodel/restoration old bakery- with original stonebrick, huge, oven!Large selection of local artists' wares, souvenirs. Tourist informațion.Upstairs: historical gallery and museum pieces. Also art gallery with rotating exhibitHandicap entrance. Elevator. Clean public restrooms and water fountain.”
“Melissa and the team at Austin Art and Frame always go above and beyond to make sure every piece of art is meticulously framed. They have great input when it comes to choosing a frame and have helped me with everything from custom shadowbox frames being built around three dimensional art to assisting with a very specific frame installation that attached to a motorized television enclosure. Highly recommend!!!”
“One of the best spaces I've seen around the world.. The hosts are humble, kind and true caring people who aren't greedy or care about suppressing the guests and all while keeping it secure and intimate. The vibe is immaculate, people of all walks of life come here day to day, different groups. Many return, and many new travelers each day come thru and are blown away by the beauty, aesthetics, creative detail and imagery. I've been here for a few days and the sleeping arrangements are comfortable and clean.. It's truly one of a kind..”
“This Gallery not only offers aspiring artists a platform to show their work; but also change the paradigm of the underrepresentation of people of color within the mainstream art-world. This gallery is built for the people operated by the people.”
