I love AFTP so much! They truly offer up local artists of all kinds. Very inclusive. They are fun, the art is affordable. I’m in love with the blown glass cups & glasses. AFTP feels like the real Austin, Tx.

Amazing gem of a gallery! I found this place by looking up the best local shops and it was far better than I anticipated. Parking is in the back so it's easy to miss the turn in (like I did). I saw everything from original paintings to prints, handmade jewelry, sculptures, photo prints, handmade glass, and so much more. Andrea was lovely and very helpful with all my questions, and provided great suggestions! At the time, an exhibit was just getting ready to close in a couple days, and new art would be displayed on specific walls. I recommend visiting their online site for upcoming events and open call information. I purchased a small painting, earrings, & a handmade vase, and will definitely be back for more!

Really nice local gallery with art priced from under $20 up to things that are almost $1k, so things for almost everyone. It's a small space but very well organized. The employee who helped us was very personable and let us browse. Definitely would go back!

Fantastic shopping, art, jewelry, candles, millions of greeting cards, if you can't find a gift there, you are not looking hard enough. Recommended to anyone with taste. Go - shop - enjoy! And pet the PUGS!

I love this gallery & take all my out of town visitors there. Interesting, eclectic blend of local artists, super friendly & welcoming staff á la South Austin (plus it's right next door to an amazing Gelato place, Dulce Nevé! I highly recommend the double whammy of going to both places!! ?????)

My husband and I recently visited Austin and participated in the Keep Austin Weird Scavenger Hunt. We are so happy that our scavenger hunt led us to Art for the People! What a fantastic hidden gem of Austin! We had questions for the staff to earn points in the scavenger hunt and the staff was more than welcoming and accommodating. We learned so much and purchased and take two unique pieces of art home with us. We highly recommend checking this place out! They had art as well as jewelry and some body oils. Super cute shop with something for everyone.

Stopped here on a whim yesterday after having passed it so many times. The inside was spacious and brighter than what I expected. Over 100+ local artists are represented for sale with varying price points. Worth a visit- they have everything from prints, jewelry, vases, sculptures stickers, canvas and more

Lots of local artist stuff, with a lot of choices. Prices were generally higher than I expected, i. e., paintings and sculptures for up to $2,500 to $3,500. Even smaller framed original paintings were $400 plus (of course, unframed prints are less). This rose piece was exception, under $100.
