Whitehedge Farm stands out for its comprehensive approach to equestrian education. Apart from riding, they instill essential horsemanship skills, emphasizing discipline and responsibility around the barn. The care for the horses is exceptional, ensuring their well-being and proper grooming. The lessons transcend riding techniques, incorporating a deep understanding of horse breeds and anatomy. It's a place where your child not only learns to ride but also develops a profound connection with and appreciation for these majestic animals.

You can tell a lot about a barn by how happy the horses are. Whitehedge has some of the happiest, healthiest horses I’ve seen. The facilities are beautiful, the turnout is some of the best available in North Texas, the people are warm and friendly, and the training is top-notch. Anne and Macy have done wonders for me and my sensitive green hunter. In the few short months I’ve had him there, I’ve gone from contemplating giving up riding to setting a goal of doing a National Derby with my gelding. I cannot overstate how much I appreciate Anne, Macy, and the entire Whitehedge team!

We had a horrible experience with Anne Hedge. She had a posting for help, we responded to her ad. When we get there it was unorganized, no communication from her to us. She had other people there to try out for the position. We were not informed that we were going to try for the position while someone else was trying for the job. We were there about 5 hours. Doing our own thing. Not knowing what she was exactly needing. It was unbelievable how bad she was to us.Even after the fact , over a week later after several calls and messages. She said she got someone else. What an experience, the rudeness, no communication, having others there, TO TOP IT OFF did not pay for the work.

The Trainer Anne Hedge has a lot of experience, and a lot of patience. She is good with the young as well as the Teens on up to Adults. She makes my daughter relax and not up-tight. If she does something wrong she simply asks her in a nice calm way to do it again.

My daughter (3 years old) has been taking lessons for several months with Ms. Anne, and the help of Ms. Macy and Ms. Renee; she just had her first show. They are all wonderful trainers. My daughter has really blossomed and learned so much. They take care and invest time and energy in even their tiniest of team members. They encourage autonomy and independence in their riders. A familial environment is important to Whitehedge and we are glad to be even a small part of it. I highly recommend Whitehedge!

Very patient with my two young girls. The lessons were very detailed. My girls really enjoyed their time there. The instructor was very nice and she made sure the girls got comfortable with the horse before riding. I love how she included them with care of the horse. I'm looking forward to my girls being able to have more lessons.

Anne is a wonderful trainer and takes great pride in all she does. Horse barn is clean and horses are well cared for. I highly recommend for lessons, horse training and horse boarding. Great facility!!

Two of my daughters have been taking lessons from Anne for about a year. She is a calm, patient teacher, and she easily adjusts her instruction to suit the needs of the youngest riders all the way to the most advanced. There are so many life lessons that come along with learning to ride well. Horses require patience, consistency, perseverance, and they are keen judges of body language, emotion, and attitude. It somehow seems easier to learn these things from these big, beautiful animals than it is from any human teacher. Anne could not be a more protective guardian of every horse in her care, and she is constantly attendant to every detail of their health and comfort. I really appreciate that she has taught my daughters to understand and respect the differences in the personalities of various horses and to adjust their handling of them accordingly. These magnificent animals are sentient and sensitive beings, and Anne teaches her students how to treat them accordingly!
