My tortoise had a cracked shell. T&C were unable to help but staff did contact other animal hospitals and found one who could see my tortoise! Thank you T&C Animal hospital

We had a good experience at this location. You could really tell this staff cares for the families and animals who enter the door. Good people. Prices are kind of intense here for us.
For full transparency, as their website doesn’t share the fees, I’ll go ahead and share this with you. They do share there’s a $65 fee if you miss your appointment which seems pretty fair to me. Time is money.
We were quoted $250 for shots and the initial visit. We were understanding and had budgeted for this. After the heart worm medication was added it ended up bumping it up to a $500 vet visit, which can be a heavy hitter for most families. I can’t just toss around $100 bills like most people.
We were also quoted for a $1000+ neutering and dental cleaning. Specifically neutering was around $620 and the cleaning started at $250 plus $28-$48 per tooth if extraction was needed. That won’t be happening any time soon.
Exam - Small Animal with Vaccinations: $48
Canine Distemper, Adenovirus, etc: $40
Rabbies Vaccine: $28
Bordetella Vaccine: $26
Fecal: $33
Heartworm Test: $55
Ear Cytology: $59
Simplera Otic (probably to treat the ear infection): $26.50 each x 2 = $53
Heartworm Meds: $169.50
*Credit/ Debit Card Processing Fees 3%: $14.55
It is what it is. We will probably keep to the $30 vaccination and free neutering clinics in the future. We aren’t rich people. I’m sure this is an amazing team of vets, we just can’t afford it here.

Dr.black is the best veterinarian around willing to drive an hour just for them to see our pups

Dr. Tucker and staff took such good care of us when we had to make end of life decisions. They made sure we understood what was happening, why, and really helped the family through a tragic time. I did not like it when our old vet retired, but I feel comfortable at T&C with my critters.

I was NOT told if there was a no-show I’d be charged a $65 fee- the receptionist told me it was for a faster checkout and in case any meds needed to be administered. I had an emergency this morning and was unable to make it. They charged my card. Absolutely ridiculous and I’ll be reporting them.

You can obviously tell they are animal lovers here. Had a wonderful experience bringing my kitty in immediately despite a full schedule. They were prompt, very thorough, and treated him like the king he is. Also very upfront with cost and potential issues. Found a new vet for my boy

We moved back to Denton and noticed this was a new vet that had been built. Based off these reviews we decided to change our vet so it was closer vs driving to flower mound. We absolutely love all the staff! They seem to really care about our pups and I have always seen the doctor at our visits to discuss any concerns/tips/anything at all. Won’t go anywhere else! Our pups walk in like they own the place and the staff make them feel like they do.

We took our cat, Grumpy here to get bladder stones removed and they were so great with him and with us! I really appreciate how they were transparent with the cost break down, as surgery can get very expensive and confusing. They took great care of Grumpy and constantly reassured us. The doctor called us the next day to check in as well, which I’ve never had any other vet do. Town and Country really cares about their patients and do not charge an arm and a leg. So happy they’re right down the road from us and looking forward to bringing the rest of our dogs here. We’ve tried a few different vets in Denton, and received the best care here! Every staff member we have come into contact with has been so nice and caring. Thank you so much Town and Country for taking care of our Grumpy!
