If I could leave Rustic and Modern 10 stars then I would. Ken created a beautiful table for my dining room and it was delivered today. The whole process was seamless and I was kept in the loop during the entire construction project. I even was able to visit the shop and pick the perfect stain color. I am so late in writing this review!! Ken made me a gorgeous table that was delivered to me in April 2022. From start to finish it was a great process! Ken explained all my options and really helped me get exactly what I wanted for my table. He was also super patient with all my stain questions and we were both really happy with how this one came out! The quality of his work is truly top notch and incredible value for the money. I was also happy to support a local small business instead of a big box furniture store. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a quality piece of furniture that is going to add real character to your home and last a long time! We found Rustic + Modern on a google search and it was the best find. We spent weeks looking for a custom barn door for our pantry that would fit our remodeled kitchen wood and stone design. Their website was easy to use for placing a custom order and April was very courteous and quick with responding to my questions. They made my purchase very easy by providing all of the hardware and header board with the door, it was a one stop shop, and the price was cheaper than trying to purchase separately at other places. I really enjoyed working with April and Ken throughout the whole process and we’re looking forward to our next purchase with Rustic + Modern! If you are wondering about all the great reviews about this company; it’s because they are well deserved. I ordered a walnut bench to match an existing table that I have and the finished product is simply PERFECT. We ordered a custom table in August for our first house. We were having a tough time finding the perfect dining table, and since we love to host and entertain, the dining table was very important to us. We found Rustic and Modern's website, filled out an order form, and were surprised with how reasonable their prices were! The delivery was slightly delayed, but it was so worth it! They were very responsive and kept us in the loop at each stage. The delivery went very smoothly and they even placed it in our dining room for us. They also left us with detailed care instructions and natural wood conditioner and polish. The table itself is expertly made. The finish is beautiful and really makes the natural wood grain come alive. They grain matched all the boards perfectly and the glue up is absolute perfection. Wow! If you are wanting a custom table or chairs look no further. These are heirloom pieces that will last forever. I think they would survive an explosion. They are heavy and sturdy. We ordered two tables and 12 chairs and every piece turned out absolutely beautiful. Don’t hesitate to go walnut with clear stain. It’s gorgeous!Services: Chair construction & installation
