I’d like to say that I have not previously submitted any reviews on any businesses - UNTIL TODAY!
Johnston Motors are solid business people and refreshingly they - ‘say what they mean and mean what they say!’ In other words they can be trusted!
I recently bought a Jeep with Hunter’s help and the confidence I gained with each exchange we had leading up to its arrival in my driveway was 100% confirmed with the
delivery. I got a beauty and I’m thrilled.

Love the business model this small family owned company has. They deal in jeeps only, and have a small inventory, and a different type of sales experience than other dealerships. Hunter wasn’t pushy, told me the good and the bad about the vehicle I was buying ‘as is’. There was room to negotiate, and I think I have found a great vehicle that me and my daughter can work on, do some restoration work to, and maybe hold some value. It’s a daily driver, it’s in good shape for its age, and sure is cool to own. If you are into getting a Jeep and are interested in a used good shape vehicle or even one they have refurbished some, this is a business worth checking out.

I don't usually bother with reviews but I wanted others to know what a pleasant buying experience I had with Johnston Motors. Not only was the Jeep in amazing shape and even cleaner than advertised, but Hunter and Lauren made the whole buying process so easy and smooth when I was understandably nervous buying from out-of-state. I can't recommend these guys enough, and hope to buy another Jeep from them in the future!

Stay far away from purchasing a vehicle from this company. I recently purchased a vehicle from Hunter and come to find out it’s leaking oil as I was putting my front license plate on. Not sure where the oil is coming from but I’ll find out from my mechanic this Wednesday. Never disclosed that it’s leaking oil. Ohh and if your looking at buying a vehicle and Hunter says it’s just had a two stage paint job make sure to check that they decided to put in the work necessary to paint the door jams. A vehicle purchase is not a cheap endeavor so I warn all of you as nice as Hunter pretends to be to you just remember he’s a salesman. He wouldn’t sell anything if he didn’t put on a face. I really thought everything looked good on this vehicle he sold me and now who knows what other corners I’ll find out on Wednesday from my mechanic that he cut. Don’t make the huge financial mistake I did. It’s not worth the chance no matter how good he makes the vehicle look through decent marketing. I noticed Hunter is trying to save face by saying I knew that he only painted the outside of the vehicle and that the problems the Jeep had were disclosed to me but I encourage anyone to watch the YouTube video where he talks about the vehicle and not one sentence in that video does he talk about any problems with the vehicle. The channel is J motors and the video is 1999 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 in stone white. Go watch that video and see how he talks about the vehicle and how you would be hard pressed to find a better Cherokee out their. He deleted my Facebook comment, and review so don’t trust that there weren’t bad reviews that he didn’t just delete. On to the better business bureaus, and state attorney general.

I saw on the computer that Johnston Motors had a 2016 truck that I liked. It's about 3 hours from my house to take a look at it, so I called and asked Hunter a lot of questions. After answering all of my questions, I thought it was a good truck so I went to JM a looked at the truck. It was not a good truck, it was a GREAT truck!!! About half of the car dealers lie because the want to sell a car. Hunter answered all of my questions, correctly. I bought the truck and have had it for 2 weeks. Runs great, no problems at all. It's a very great truck and a very good price. If Johnston Motors has a vehicle like one you're looking for, go --- you'll LOVE IT!!!

Purchased a very nice 2006 Rubicon from Hunter and Johnston Motors. Very pleased with the purchase. This was my first internet auto purchase, purchased it without a test drive or seeing it in person. Hunter provided good videos and great pictures. Kept me up to date on progress of the sale, and even assisted with shipping. Thanks for all.
