Cesspool of a gas station. Dirty and disgusting. Stinks of curry. Gas tends to be more expensive here.

As an Aubrey local, we frequent this gas station. There are very few options in Aubrey. We have never had any issue with them in the past, and Steve the manager is a very friendly person. A couple of weeks ago we were pumping gas, and Walked inside for something leaving the pump running expecting it to shut off when it was full. Something on the pump malfunctioned and ended up spilling around 15 gallons of gas onto the ground. Steve was very helpful in cleaning up our car and cleaning up the spill itself. But we were charged for all of the gas in spite of the malfunctioning pump. I went back the next day and asked the owner Sam if he would reimburse us for the gas that overflowed. He hesitated to commit to anything and told me he would call me back after he “talked to Exxon” and gave me the runaround about how my wife should’ve have stayed with the car and the pump seemed to be working fine now. That was over a week ago and I have received no phone call. it isn’t worth my time to continue to argue with them or try and dispute the charge. But they have lost my business permanently. I really try to buy local when I can but from now on, we will just go down to the chain Valero station a couple of miles south on 377.
