Too bad you do not have a choice - stars. For some reason, this place seems to not care if customers are in danger. an elderly customer was threatened by another customer and yelled at all the way to her car, and not one person did a thing. Aubrey has become an unsafe place to be.

Dollar General is a well-known chain of dollar stores that has a significant presence in many communities. While it offers affordable options, it is essential to critically assess the impact it has on the community.Limited Product Selection:One of the main drawbacks of Dollar General is its limited product selection. While it provides a wide array of cheap and low-quality items, it falls short when it comes to offering a diverse range of products. This can be particularly problematic for communities seeking access to fresh produce, meats, and other nutritious food items. The lack of healthier options restricts consumer choices and can have long-term implications for community health.Displacement of Local Businesses:Dollar General's competitive pricing and convenience can pose a threat to local businesses. The allure of low prices often draws customers away from small, independent stores, leading to their struggle for survival. The closures and job losses that result can have a detrimental impact on the economic health and character of the community. It's unfortunate to witness the erosion of local businesses that contribute to the unique charm and identity of a neighborhood.Economic Drain:Dollar General's business model relies heavily on sourcing products from overseas at low costs. While this allows for affordable prices, it can contribute to a drain on the domestic manufacturing sector. The preference for imported goods over locally produced items can disrupt local supply chains and hinder the growth of domestic industries. This dynamic perpetuates a cycle of economic decline, ultimately impacting job opportunities and the overall vitality of the community.Negative Aesthetic Impact:One common criticism of Dollar General is its negative aesthetic impact. The uniform appearance of these stores, with their plain and generic designs, can detract from the overall visual appeal of a neighborhood. The cookie-cutter architecture and lack of distinctiveness may lead to a loss of community identity, making it challenging to foster a vibrant and engaging environmentCommunity Inequality:Dollar General stores are often concentrated in low-income communities with limited access to transportation. While the affordability and convenience of these stores can benefit residents, the lack of diverse retail options perpetuates community inequality. Residents may have to travel longer distances or pay higher prices elsewhere to access higher-quality products. This disparity highlights the underlying issues of limited economic opportunities and the unequal distribution of resources. In conclusion, Dollar General presents a mixed bag for communities. While it offers affordability and convenience, its limited product selection, displacement of local businesses, economic drain, negative aesthetic impact, and community inequality cannot be ignored. Balancing the benefits and drawbacks of dollar stores like Dollar General is crucial when considering their impact on the community. Efforts should be made to ensure a diverse retail landscape that supports local businesses and provides access to quality products, promoting the overall well-being of the community.

Always closed with random signs up saying there is some sort of an issue. It’s literally 6:00pm and cars are pulling up disappointed. If you’re in a pinch and need something fast sadly you’re better off going to the 7 eleven even though they have less stuff! Because they stay open!

How you not going to be open when the hours are posted and your machines or workers can’t show up on time. Showed up at 930 and there it even open yet when your hours say your open at 8am? This happens way to many times at this location.
