“I have no words to express how happy and satisfied we are with every single person that works in the clinic! My cat is 2 years old and FIV+, she had a little reaction from vaccine and Dr Suellen found time to see her, doing everything she could to make my cat have the best diagnosis and right treatment. The very same day she was already feeling better. All the technicians and receptionists were sweet and kind to us. Not to mention that they called me back after I called the first time just to let me know that would actually be possible to bring my cat in and I am so very glad that it worked, cause from now on Dr Suellen is my cat's vet with 0 doubts. The best in town! Thank you guys so much! ♥️”

“Couldn’t be happier with the staff, the Dr’s or the services they provided. We adopted a small dog who needed multiple operations and they were handled professionally, kindly and compassionately. We owe this clinic a great deal of gratitude and our forever business. Thank you for taking care of our little Turnip, we’ll take good care of her the rest of her life and we have you to thank for that!”

“First time there for my registered dog having gut problems. Dr. prescribed a medication to control the problems she had. A very good experience with the doctor and staff. Took my girl to Athens Hospital and was diagnosed with a small intestine being damaged. Surgery went well, and I am waiting for more post pardom results. I can't down this doctor for trying his best when a second opinion always counts elsewhere.”

“"Jasper"of course the sweetest dog in the world and my constant companion want to say we both love this Clinic. In all seriousness they deserve 10 stars. Last visit was for a vaccine...from the time I called the Office and Jasper received his vaccine was less than an hour. He didn't feel a thing⭐️ The previous visit was several months ago and he was not feeling well at all. Once again just a quick phone call and a precautionary test for parvo, curbside. Thankfully it was negative so off we went to quickly be seen by a super compassionate and knowledgeable Veterinarian. After tests, shots and IV fluids we were on our way with a couple of medications for him to take. I have to say from the receptionists, assistants and Doctors I could not have felt more relief. They were all "THE BEST" Even always checking on him making sure he is better the next day. Thank you!!
BTW Dr. John Morton, Sr. took wonderful care of our dog, cat and beautiful horses many years ago when we were all many years younger. My parents loved him. That said the super loving care is still there ?”

“We took a horse I was considering to purchase there for a pre-purchase check up. Dr. Todd was fantastic, extremely thorough. Great, down to earth and highly professional practice. Wish we could use Athens Equine for all of our horses, but that might be too much of a drive from Fort Worth on a regular basis. Best pre-purchase check I have ever requested.”

“I have frequently found going to the vet with my dog somewhat stressful with all the dogs in the waiting room, and my dog wanting to make acquaintances by pulling on her leash, the whining, uncomfortable hard benches, concrete flooring that makes all the noise reverberate, and at times rude staff that don't acknowledge you waiting while they make unnecessary banter amongst themselves. This veterinarians office was different. I walked in with my Misha limping along side me and there was only one other furbaby parent in a small quiet waiting room. The staff was attentive and polite. The chairs were comfortable and the wait was comfortable and reasonable. My reasoning for bringing my Sharpai/boxer, 11 year old furbaby was to get a 2nd opinion from Dr. Richardson for my dog's ongoing eye irritation and paw inflammation. After a year of treatments from her previous doctor and without any appreciable progress, i was almost without hope. Getting a 2nd opinion was my last ditch effort. Dr. Richardson was kind, thoughtful in his approach, and thorough. He acquired a cytology sample that led us to a different diagnosis and we now are treating her swollen feet from a new and fact based approach. He evaluated her eye and found a small growth causing cornea irritation and has scheduled for the growth to be removed. All in all, for the first time in a year, I am hopeful that my Misha can live out her final days in comfort. Something, I had all but given up on.
Today, I feel like I found a hidden gem of Henderson county with this vet office and only regret I didn't come here sooner. If you're still reading this long review, if you like small offices that don't rush you, kind and polite staff thoughtful in their approach and treatment, thorough in their communication, look no more. Just call these guys.”
