Kara is the absolute best!!! I was rushed in trying to find a place to live because of work and she went above and beyond to help me. The town home is super nice and clean and I would recommend them to everyone. Great location to everything you would want to do in Athens.

Always very on top of things peaceful area but close to many things. Management is amazing and very helpful.If you need anything or have questions they are amazing and pretty quick to respond.Very nice apartments. ?

I've lived at Athens Townhomes since June, and it has been a great experience. It is a nice, clean living experience and the management has been on it. Every time I need assistance, which isn't often, they send maintenence over to fix the issue. If I could give more stars I would. Kara is by far the best apartment manager I've ever had.

I had to break my lease because the apartment I received had a dryer vent located in the crawl space. Because the vent was not directed outside, there was a buildup of moisture. That moisture caused mold that destroyed nearly everything I owned and caused my child and I to become ill. I was not compensated for my damaged property. I did receive a $300 bill for burner covers and nonpayment of rent of 6 days. It took me 6 days to move out because I was ill from the mold.Athens Townhomes comes into your apartment unannounced at their leisure. My husband left while I was in the bathroom. Locked the outside lock but the deadbolt was not secured because i was temporarily unable to secure it. Someone knocked *maintenance and the property manager) and I ignored the door. So they just came in for "pest control". No written notice, no phone calls, nothing. They do not respect their tenants or honor tenant privacy.The bathtub they gave me was so filthy that they replaced it after I complained when I first moved in. I asked for it to be professionally cleaned or replaced. It was so bad they replaced it. The wall was full of termites which they had to knock down, spay, and rebuild at my inconvenience. They should have put us in a hotel or a different apartment for the mold and bugs. They just expected us to pay outrageous rent for substandard accommodations.Athens townhouses is a slum disguised as luxury.So many negative experiences. Avoid this place at all costs. I'm paying half the rent somewhere else now and the new place is nicer, cleaner, and safer.Edit* I had insurance the entire time I was there. It was the insurance athens townhomes partnered with. The majority of the items that were destroyed were less than 6 months old. The only item I left was a dresser because it was to large to get to the dumpster and was falling apart from moisture damage. The other items went into the dumpster. The moisture was so severe it destroyed the smoke detector. These things happened and all I can do is warn others. Seriously, don't live here.

Y’all.. when I first got moved to this location for a promotion i had a WEEK to find a place, sign a lease, and move all of my stuff. From my very first call, Kara was unbelievable. Moving just gives me anxiety especially with a short time to plan, and my experience was and has been top tier since I moved in. I am now in the same position of having little information surrounding a promotion and sadly, having to move again. If they had a sister property in the state i was moving, id take Kara with me!! She has been so graceful and patient when it comes to working with me with little to no information, and always exhausts all efforts to do what she can to help, even after hours. This is one of the few times i hope i don’t get the new position so i can STAY. Thank you Kara for being the reason i enjoyed Athens TX, this is where i will be if i happen to come back!

Ah good ol Athens townhomes. I recently decided to move back to this little town and sure enough i found a good low rate with Athens townhomes just like when i lived here before. They have always been amazing and the property manager has always been and still is very helpful and informative of everything going on at the property! I believe her name is Kara but she herself is very kind and welcoming and made me feel at home this time as she did whenever i first lived here and makes me feel good about being back in town. They are great about resolving any maintenance issues with my unit in a very timely manner and anytime they have had to enter my unit they always let me know well ahead of time as well as provided multiple notices which was good because i tend to forget when they were sopose to come by. But all in all these are the best apartments ive ever lived at and it looks like they are about to one up themselves again with all the improvements ive seen done since ive been gone.

This apartment complex is by far the best that I have lived at, I came from a pretty bad residence before this one and this has been a good year with them! Kara Ewing is a very good property Manager!

Kara E has been a wonderful manager as she has walked me through the whole process from applying and filling out my application to keeping updated with renovations and finalizing my lease. She showed nothing but professionalism, respectful, and an open hand to help. I really appreciated the help as moving is always stressful for me.
