We lived here a few years ago and loved it! The manager was super nice and the property was always clean and kept up! I just saw they did renovations and they look awesome! Miss living here!

I LOVE this community. I have lived here for the last five years and have zero desire to leave anytime soon, as a matter of a fact this is my second unit. There’s no need! The amount of effort, attention to detail, cleanliness, and professionalism made by the staff is unlike any other apartment community I’ve lived at. Kara the leasing manager is an absolute sweetheart she has the biggest smile on her face every time I encounter her. They actually care about you and your needs. The new units that have been remodeled (that I currently live in now) are STUNNING. The designer did a fantastic job. Take my word for it, this is the place to live in east Texas!

This is the BEST apartment complex here in Athens! The new look is such a vibe, definitely a relaxing scenery with the trees, nice clean pool, picnic area, love grilling with the bros! Property manager Kara is ON POINT she knows her facts, very friendly, someone you would want to rent from. She appreciates all her residents and takes everyone’s opinions into consideration! Love this place dude ?

I have lived at Athen Garden for some time now and I must say that this is the best place I’ve ever lived. The property manager, Kara, is always asking for feedback from the residents and takes our opinions/concerns into consideration. For an example, there is a poll that is going on for the residents to vote for a new amenity for the property. It is nice to feel seen and heard! If you’re wanting to find a place that feels like home, I definitely suggest moving here. The layouts and upgrades are immaculate. I feel like I’m living at a luxury apartment complex for a good price!

This property is BEAUTIFUL! I have lived here for years and I have seen the difference in the community and atmosphere that the new property manager has brought into my living space! There is regularly scheduled pest control and many full access amenities available for any resident to use! I love the pool myself (It is cleaned REGULARLY), but the lobby / lounge is an incredible area to hang out in as well! They have a beautiful and fully stocked coffee bar that is open to the residents! The property manager often hosts events in the lounge for all residents and sometimes even outside community members! Overall I am very happy to see this place under new management and moving in a positive direction!

My fiancé and I have lived here for almost a full year now and we’re moving next month at no fault of this place, this was our first home together and we thought it was going to be a rough and scary process, the people in this establishment are absolutely wonderful! Kara the apartment manager is amazing, always quick to respond when we have questions for her and when we had a problem with anything maintenance was so quick to jump and solve the issue, this is a great place to live and we hate to leave. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing environment to unwind after a long day. The improvements they are making to this place are amazing and you can tell that each person actually cares about the tenants. We loved our stay here! I say definitely give this place a chance if you’re looking! We have no complaints.

The changes being made to this property are beautiful! The remodels that started at the end of last year are leaving the floor plans so unique and better than they have been in years. I absolutely love them! The large one bedroom with the wrap around kitchen is my favorite!!!

I absolutely love my new apartment and the beautiful appliances, new paint and flooring are awesome. The complex is nice and quiet as well, and the manager, Cheryl is friendly and professional. She is right on top of anything needing work.

I'm a college student that has struggled with things here and there, yet the manager is amazing, understanding, and helpful. The people here are chill and kind. Everyone minds their own business for the most part and we occasionally have good conversations with people.

Resident • 2019 Not RecommendedThis is my experience. Judge for yourself. I have lived here for 19 days. When I was signing the lease, the manager gave me the pest control schedule. I asked her what kind of pests they have, and she said, "None." I moved in and found that there is a terrible roach infestation. I notified the manager 2 days later and her response was, "Well it was treated Thursday." She later texted that she would put my apartment down for treatment in 10 days. The exterminator did not show on that date. One morning I killed 10 before work. Twice they have crawled on me in bed. Because of the roaches, I have not cooked the entire time I've been in the apartment.
