Felt my son’s haircut was rushed. I don’t know what she was thinking when she said this was a taper fade lol
Asked the hairstylist if we could come back and fix what needed to be fixed, was ignored. First and last time I ever go to shear madness.
Photos were taken in parking lot as soon as we left.

I attempted to give this place another try. I previously had my sons hair cut a few months back with Kayla, and silly of me of not knowing the numbers for his simple clean cut fade, I always showed a picture to the barber or explained how I wanted just a trim down on the top and fade on the sides. My poor baby left basically bald ! Right from the beginning she just started with then shortest number for the top, you can barely see he had any left.. I then told her it was too short. I didn’t want it all gone from the top. She said “ well you said to use the 1” and continued on, and tried to I don’t even know what. Until finally I told her and the manager I did not want her to finish, since aside from this, she does not know how to talk to children neither, nor tries to make them feel comfortable with her.
As we all know how kids can and I know my kids don’t always like to get their hairs cuts.. that’s why I genuinely appreciate the ones that have patience for my boys, and of course leave a good tip for how hard it is, and not wanting to leave them looking crazy.
typically anywhere else that I’ve gone, and they can tell I didnt know what numbers I usually use, they would gradually go shorter, if I agreed to it, since as we all know and any other place would tell me, we can always cut more, starting from what I know now like a 3 then a 2 at the top and sides faded…
So the manager had to get the gentlemen to help us out to at least edge up the shadow of what was left..
Months pass, I needed the boys to get a last minute hair cut.. and I booked the appointment thinking we’ll try this again.. Since there was a time I had the manager whom I believe cut his hair and I didn’t have any problems with her, or the gentlemen. They called me to confirm appointment and asked if I had anyone specific that I wanted to have cut the boys hair, I told them no ( thinking I hope it wasn’t that lady, and if it is well then we will see if maybe that day it was a bad day for her and give her the benefit of the doubt).
Epic fail. My son hates hair on him and immediately starts complaining it’s itching him.. which typically the ladies will wipe it off and blow dry, and she tried but didn’t seem to have patience for it, since he also didn’t want his hair cut.. she told him to sit on the other end of the car, he didn’t want to, so she told him, “ well that’s why I told you to sit on this side so I can help you” I saw she was struggling trying to reach over but I didn’t see the difference of how that would of helped him, since also she left my other sons hair on that side of the seat and that’s why he didn’t want to sit on that other side..
he then complained she hurt his ear, and she said “well I’m trying to do the edge up behind your ear, I don’t want it to cut you” .. the responses and not having any empathy is sad.
I realized my other kid that was not giving us a hard time, had little strands that were were not cut and blended, she fixed it, I mentioned his front edge up, was not even or straight, she tried to fix it, and could not and reasoning was “ I followed what was there” and had to ask the gentlemen once again to help. Smh
Both of their cuts both were not blended well..
I wanted to ask the gentleman to fix it , just didn’t want to be a bother,
since he usually does great, has patience, tries to talk to the boys. Kayla is the complete opposite sad to say.

It was an awful experience. I cannot recommend staying away more. The stylist hacked my daughter's hair and didn't even come close to doing what we asked. She then in the same breath claimed to be trained with autistic children and blamed the 4 year old autistic child for the horrible results. This was after being very rude during the appointment, instructing that my child be held down and making her feel like an inconvenience or a bother. She didn't even bother to look over the hair and my daughter's bangs (which were are WAY too short) were super lopsided and we had to point it out so that she didn't look completely ridiculous.

The stylist was great with my 4 yr old daughter! My little girl is very shy with everyone. Her experience with children certainly showed- patience and respect. The stylists answered my questions, she was helpful and a nice person to my daughter. I'll be taking my daughter back to this place.

Let me start by saying that my experience at this location was amazing! I drove 30 minutes to give my son a haircut because I had a bad experience at Cookie Cutters in The Woodlands. My son is 3 years old and autistic; he is terrified of getting his hair cut so you need extra patience and care. Well, Kayla was amazing! From the moment we sat him down, she proceeded to talk to him and tell him what she was doing, letting him feel the tools so he can see that it was ok. He did not cry at all! He sat there and let her work her magic. I was in awe! My experience in Cookie Cutters was so bad that my son was still crying and shaking almost an hour after we left; and with Kayla, not a tear! Thank you for making my son feel comfortable, happy and safe.

The manager here is a ghetto and unprofessional person. No wonder your stylists are walking into the salon on weed. Whoever the owners are, you are completely blind and should take time to choose a manager that knows how to talk professionally. We walked in and the whole aura here is TERRIBLE!! After reading the other reviews and seeing how customer's posted reviews based on their experience and were attacked for stating the truth is a terrible representation of leadership! I will never go here again and will definitely let my acquaintances know to steer clear of this salon!!

Brought my daughter in for a haircut and the person that did her cut smelled like weed. She initially walked past us on her way in and I was shocked she was an employee. I was not a happy camper about that considering this is a place specifically for children. Not long after, another person walked out from the back and walked past us as my daughter was getting her cut and also smelled like weed. Needless to say, we won't be back.

$23 for a child's cut and it wasn't even cleaned up, hairs out of place, the stylist literally ran the clippers but did not clean it up after, leaving hair not laying flat. One of the worst haircuts I've gotten my son.1 star bc the stylist had an ok attitude. The only reason I didn't say anything is bc I didn't want my child to hear me say the haircut looks terrible then giving him a complex.

Have been coming here for awhile. My son got his first haircut here just before his 1st birthday. Nearly 5 years later and the ladies cut and customer service is always good

Hello! It was a very bad experience, my wife and I left this place very disappointed. The girl who served us is named Kayla and she really has no tact when dealing with babies or small children. It was my daughter's first cut and we really waited a long time for someone to do a good job but it was the worst experience, the girl did not wet my daughter's hair, she cut it dry and my daughter started crying and she He continued as if he didn't care that my baby was crying. My wife paid for the certificate package, the lock of hair and the before and after photo as a souvenir and we didn't tell her not to do it (I don't understand why they ask what service you are going to get on the website if when you arrive they They do not know what to do). When I took the photo my baby was already crying and the photos turned out horrible. I don't recommend this place at all and all I can say is if you want to have a bad experience come to this place with Kayla. (I don't know about other girls but I don't recommend this woman). My wife and I were so angry!!

Thank goodness for this salon! My son is non-verbal ASD and both the ladies I've seen since I've started coming here have been so kind and patient with my baby and have honestly given him the best haircuts even though he is all over the place. Very appreciative for these stylists!
