I towed my car here for them to fix July 18. After my insurance gave an estimate and give them green light to fix my car. They said it will take 19 days to completed. I called them to asked for an update on my car. The advisor Steve didn't really have an answer for me every time I called. I called about 2 or 3 times in the timeframe. After 19 days(August 6) they didn’t even done any work on my car. I removed my car to different body shop. I was so frustrated and so mad. They wasted my time. They only think their time is important but not mine. This is the worst body shop I ever experienced. Never bring your car here to do any work. Horrible business…..

Best Body Shop around. Yes it may cost a little more but worth every penny!!! Had someone damage my Tahoe and you cannot even tell!!! It may be a 2012 but she’s immaculate. Thanks to Vandergriff and their business practices.

I was little concerned and worried when insurance recommended this place for my repair after seeing the reviews ,however, I had a great experience! Receptionist was super sweet and helpful as this was first time I’ve ever had to do claim. She even called car rental place while I finished up paperwork, so they were outside before I even finished. Jimmy was helpful at answering all my questions with a smile on his face and assured me I would be updated along way. I figured repair would take some time as usually I have to wait for Hyundai Sonota parts for even oil changes. They updated me whenever they had one so I never had to call to ask for estimated time. They got it done just in time on Friday so I wouldn’t have to wait for Monday! Great place and service.

Austin gave us amazing service. He was professional, courteous, and kept us informed all along the process. They handled everything with the insurance and all we paid was the deductible. The car was returned sooner than predicted. Their work was impeccable. I highly recommend Vandergriff Collision South!

I should have looked at the reviews here. Stay away at all costs.
Horrible experience. first they said they had availability on a particular day that I could drop off my car so they could work on it. AFTER we dropped of they said by the way that person is out so they'll work on it when they come back from vacation. 3-4 weeks later I get my car and it's not fixed and is given back to me full of dirt inside on the side they worked on. had to go back 2 more times for adjustments and then a new problem came up. 5 times of going back and forth and still not fixed. 2 months to replace a door! good customer service by the office people but worse experience sith the people working on the car.

The lack of communication at this place is beyond horrible. I was told I’d be on a weekly update about back ordered parts, but have not heard from them once in 4 months. Sad part is somehow they have already been paid by insurance, so now I’m stuck there.

Zero customer service skills. I called and made an appointment and when I went in, they said I wasn’t on the schedule. The lady at the desk was super rude and tried to blame their mistake on me.

Horrible, worst of the worst places to bring your vehicle for any type of repairs. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. Their accountability sucks. I encountered nothing but problems while dealing with these people. Brought my car in for repair and they took over a month to fix. Plus when the had finally “fixed” it and went to pick it up. They messed other unrelated things in the car. For example headlights not working, had to purchase another battery for the vehicle and cameras were disabled. Please PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS !!!!!!!!!

Scheduled , Scheduled, SCHEDULEDrepairs for hail damage. SPECIFICALLY told the shop we would wait as long as necessary until the shop volume was such that they would actually be working on our vehicle when we brought it in.Advised we did not want to be in a position of renting a vehicle for six weeks or more for something which should REASONABLY take 2 to 3 weeks to complete repairs. We were reassured this would not happen. Now, we are in the very position we tried so hard not to be in. The shop is claiming they cannot tell us when the vehicle repairs will be completed. They cannot even tell us if they’ve ordered the necessary parts. We have been in a rental vehicle for almost 4 weeks.Extremely dissatisfied, absolutely shocked at their lack of communication and zero customer service! Their apathy, their lack of professionalism, when scheduling and communicating the status of repairs leaves me ZERO confidence in the repairs that will be completed.We expressly advised There was no rush and our vehicle was drivable. Why? Why? Why, would you tell us to bring it in for it to sit at your shop and wait while we incurred an expense for a rental vehicle??? Shop absolutely will not give a completion date. Would never trust this shop again. Would give ZERO star rating, however, system does not allow this.

Due to a small blow, they have had my truck for more than a month because they still haven't received some parts. Which parts? If nothing broke, maybe they make it look like that to charge the insurance companies more, I definitely don't recommend it :/
