Sad to say I didn’t have the same experience as others in the Reviews section. My family initially visited the store and spoke with Tony a couple months ago. We didn’t have time to make a purchase that day due to prior engagements we needed to attend. When shopping today for a mattress, we visited multiple stores and decided to stop back by Sleep Experts to purchase with Tony just based on how our experience was with him in the past.
To say rude and unprofessional is an understatement. Today he showed his true colors. We received 5 star service from him when there was no one in the store and he hadn’t made a sale all day, but because there were other people shopping today due to it being a holiday his attitude and professionalism were beyond horrible. Not once did he help us determine what type of bed we needed. He literally asked us to go find a bed we liked and left it that. When I asked him to explain the difference between 2 beds to me he simply said one was $100 more than the other. That’s obvious. To top it off, when he came back around to us he said “I don’t have time to play games today. I have a lot of customers today so you need to make a decision.” Once I told him we would look elsewhere to compare he was quick to verbally attack and state that other stores won’t “haggle” and if we’re “not planning to spend over $1000 no one will waste their time” with us. I never gave him a budget. That was all I needed to hear to quickly walk out of the door and spend much more with another store right after I left Sleep Experts. To prejudge and be condescending because you see other people in your store looking at mattresses is insane to me. I’m very happy that we held off on our first visit so we could see how he really is today. I’m even happier to say that we found an amazing set at a different store with EXCELLENT service and we didn’t have to do any “haggling”.
