Wouldn’t touch my car because it sits 2 inches lower than factory height, and the camera wouldn’t be able to line up with the calibration board. I asked if they could just toss little 2 inch blocks under each wheel and for some reason that won’t work, and my only option was to remove my current springs, and put in the OEM springs. Ridiculous. “Have an auto shop refuse to change a windshield because of non-factory suspension” was not on my 2024 bingo card. No car is going to be the same height. Different tires, different wheels, or bad shocks will affect the height of any and every car, but 2 inch lowering springs is apparently the red flag.
Edit 9/4/24: What safelite told me was impossible was done by Auto Glass Now. New windshield with a perfectly calibrated lane assistance camera and with aftermarket suspension. Don’t waste your money or time here.

Retired combat veteran, went to safeLite Arlington Cooper ST. because of commercials, thought they would be the best and warrantee etc., spent $1200+, 4 days later crack in same exact spot, returned immediately but told wont cover under warrantee because of very SUBJECTIVE determination by manager who did not want to do a "warrantee job". I offered to pay for the windshield and they do the labor, "sorry, no deal, you are on your own". Customer service responding to another post giving the typical "sorry, sucks for you". When I can afford again, will go to American Glass off W Division, better people, better service

Don’t be fooled by the commercial. Their customer service is lousy. I had a crack in my windshield for my Range Rover. They stated the windshield isn’t available and had to order it after waiting a month they called and said they could not come to replace it like they mentioned in the commercial that we had to bring it in person after we arrived. We took an Uber back home just to find out they ordered the wrong windshield, they claimed it was not their fault since the Vin number pulled 20 different options you would think a big company like this would know which windshield Each car required. After stating my frustration to their employees, they mentioned there’s nothing they could do. They’ll try to order a windshield which come to find out. They also have to order it, and on top of all that they told us to take the vehicle to Range Rover because the windshield needed some kind of code…. With companies that’s on TV. They don’t care about their customers. You’re just a number they won’t be getting my business ever again and I don’t recommend anybody call them either.

The team was very nice and communicated what was being done with my windshield replacement. After the job was done they texted and called me to let me know. Once I arrived I got my key and was good to go. Thankfully my insurance covered this.
I bought new windshield wipers and they installed them for free. Kody was amazing with this whole process.

I went to Safelite knowing I would pay more, but I accepted this because I believed I would get premium service and not have to deal with cleaning up broken glass inside my vehicle. But I was wrong. I had to remove broken glass left behind inside my vehicle and in the bed of my truck. The installer also left behind some black adhesive that I am not unable to remove from my white paint that now has been baked by the sun. Don’t waste your time and money going to Safelite thinking you are going to get trouble free service. All you are going to do is pay a premium for sketchy work.

It's ridiculous that you can't speak with a person, everything scheduled online. The scheduling is very confusion and a waste of time.

The installer took everything off my windshield and in the middle of it.He decided he couldn't do it When he put everything back together inside. He left my wiring hanging that connected to my mirror camera, the cell phone speaker and the upper left an tenna for my alarm was all hanging down when he left, I was inside the house at the time. He should have put things back together the way they were, but he didn't.

Did a good job fixing the glass although had to take it to the shop twice before cameras were calibrated. Thank you for your service

These scammers want $600 just to calibrate my cameras after paying $800 for a windshield. This is an absolute scam. Do not go here for any reason.
Edit: they're lying saying any vehicle with safety features requires calibration. Tesla's Autopilot computer and cameras automatically recalibrate over 100 miles. Safelite's calibration is a scam and completely unnecessary, no matter what they say.

SAFELITE IS A SCAM!!
This review is to help someone not be scammed online by Safelite as I have been.
I scheduled this appointment over a week ahead. I pre-paid a lil over $270 on the website for mobile services. Which now I am out that money till or if I get it refunded. So no going to get it fixed somewhere else. I read every email they sent. I confirmed by my appointment the day before via text they sent, with a thank you reply for confirming. I get a phone the day before also after the text while I was at work around 3:50pm. I had to call it back because I was at work at 4:19 pm. A guy answered with just a hello. I said I missed a call from this number. He then said do you have an appointment to get your window fixed. I said yes and that I also confirmed it via text. He said that was it, goodbye. I then get a email at 5:30 pm with a video of how to prepare for the visit, making sure covered area, etc.
I then get ANOTHER phone call at 6:30 pm from the SAME NUMBER as earlier from a guy saying he was confirming my appointment and that I HAVE TO PROVIDE THE PART, that they do not have it. I said what?? Provide the part? First why didn’t the guy earlier tell me that? It’s freaking 6:30 and I have to search down a part before 8am?
The guy said that I didn’t talk to anyone and if I did it would have been a lady.
I DID TALK TO A GUY THAT ANSWERED THIS NUMBER AT 4:19 today! This guy was not sorry for any inconvenience he had the attitude of I don’t care. Never apologized about this situation. So here I am, out over $270, waiting for over a week for service that is a scam to get your money and then, they don’t have the part.
Now I still have a broken window, I work so hard for the money they just scammed me for

I was charged an extra $395.00 without my consent. Over the phone, I was at first told, that I would be reimbursed but would need the transaction to invoice before they could do so. They said to call back on Monday. When I called back on Monday I was passed around to SO many people. To finally told because I checked a box online that said "I understand that additional charges could apply." That they had the right to add the $395.00 without my consent.
