So, in reference to the same move that I ranted about Public Storage, here is the opposite end of the spectrum.Penske was easy to deal with. Every day that I re-rented their truck out, they made the process simple. Seriously, just know your phone number, and they'll extend your booking. Here is where they go above and beyond: I re-rent this truck for like the 5th day and I get a call from, I'm guessing corporate. I wasn't surprised they called, but I was SHOCKED they let me have it for yet another day. Long story short, I acknowledged the guy had every right to be concerned that something awful had happened to said truck (nothing had happend) and he said the next day I HAD to return the truck. I totally understood, heck at this point I was seriously missing driving my own car (when your daily driver is a Honda Civic, and you rent out a friggin 16ft moving truck...).Penske, thank you. This was the move from Hell, the worst move ever. Yet, if not for your service, and most importantly, YOUR UNDERSTANDING (things companies like to talk about and yet, so few actually deliver) I could not have made it through.
