Bought a cargo van from here I looked over the van as much as I could no check engine lights A/C worked brakes looked fine etc so I had no reason to not buy the van so I went ahead and did it… 3 days later A/C broke went up there 5 times just for them to put a band aid over the situation I also had the breaks go out and I hadn’t even driven 1000mi yet because the van had been sitting since I bought it and they tried to say the breaks are because I drove the van a lot… nope.. all my miles were from going back and forth to the dealer about 100 there and back (do the math) anyway the “Fixed” the breaks… but then the A/C was still out so I took it to a mechanic near me they found the issue in 2hrs It was just a temperature switch inside the radio unit area I’m thinking everything is good so I go head and start booking my work loads I go to get second maintenance work done just oil change at the same mechanic and he notices a bolt for the break caliper is missing I texted dealer they just read no response… I left it with the mechanic to do the full break down and it’s a repair that will cost $1700… should I go back to the dealer since the worked on the breaks last of course! But why risk my life by trusting them and their fake mechanic again? Nah I’ll eat the money I’ll make it back in a few days anyway but the Principle of the situation is why sell dishonest products to honest people..I’m a young guy tryin to make an honest living for my wife and kids build a business that I can possibly hand down one day I see what kids my age are doing and I don’t want that for myself etc etc all that sob story jazz anyway… yep don’t buy from these guys and if you do be VERY careful they sell lemons but dress them up so they look good

The above place of business should be avoided at all costs. And it cost me a lot to buy a truck there-not just the cost of the truck, but all the trouble that came with it. Richard Alaniz was the salesman that sold me the truck. The agreement between us was since they had a large repair and mechanics shop on premises, they would guarantee the truck for 7 days from time of purchase to be trouble free and if brought back within that period due to engine light coming on, another 7 days would be added on for each time it was brought back. The truck's engine light came on within an hour after I drove it off the lot. So I took it back, and they apparently worked on it. I took it back 5 times, due to the engine light coming on with a new or sometimes the same diagnostic codes. The last time the engine light came on I called and Richard told me to bring it back. But this time they said it wasn't their fault the engine light was coming on and wanted me to pay cash, up front, before they would work on it. This decision wasn't from Richard the salesman, but from Kahlid, the shop lead guy and apparently 'Mike' the owner. The truck was and is obviously a lemon, and although Richard initially apologized and told me they would make things right and fix it, he and they
did not. So, I am stuck. I hope people who may be thinking of doing business here see this and find another place to buy vehicles.

Unfortunately, this team took advantage of my trust. The truck was very clean and presented well however, the second time I drove it the check engine light came on. Added to this were several items presenting such as the truck being limited for speed, reverse camera being non functional, and the entire radio/phone package being non functional. I advise a thorough inspection and testing of anything you purchase here before signing the dotted line...good luck!

Please trust your gut when dealing with these guys. The price they gave you seems too good to be true because it is. Before you buy, I implore you to ask for a copy of their inspection report (with photos). If you are buying site unseen (not recommended with these guys) don't send any money until you see videos of everything working. Don't expect a quick resolution or answer to any questions and definitely don't expect any sense of urgency. If you know a mechanic in the area, pay them to inspect the vehicle and get EVERYTHING you talk to them about in writing. Thank you for a laundry list and thousands of dollars of undisclosed issues, Mario. OH did I mention they didn't even send the title on time?! Almost forgot a pretty crucial step to actually owning the vehicle we purchased.

My company bought a truck from Metro and within 45 days of purchase, the diesel engine needed to be replaced. The estimate to replace the engine was $30K (we paid $26K when we bought it). Metro wouldn't make it right and repair the truck for us. Think twice before buying a vehicle from Metro Auto Sales.

Arlington Tx-METRO AUTO SALES-RIPOFFS!! THEIR CARS ARE JUNK AND THEY ARE LIARS!! THE OWNER DID GET FINED BY THE TXDOT FOR HAVING HIS NEPHEW PRETEND HE WAS A STUDENT AND THAT HE OWNED THE CAR..HE SAID HE DIDN’T KNOW ME BUT YET MET ME AT THE DMV! STAY AWAY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT..IT WAS A $4100 LESSON LEARNED FOR ME. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHEN THE WHOLE FAMILY WAS HANGING OUT AT THAT SHADY LOOKING MOTEL ON 360 IN ARLINGTON. THEY RIPPED.ME OFF ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN IT. HE WENT AND MADE A COPY OF THE RECEIPT AND WROTE IN “AS IS” AND FOLDED IT UP WHEN GIVING IT BACK TO ME AND I DIDNT BOTHER TO LOOK AT IT! WHAT A CON ARTIST! I WILL UPDATE AS LONG AS THEY’RE IN BUSINESS. THEY CAN CHANGE THEIR NAME ALL THEY WANT. SHAME ON THEM!!
UPDATE 2022: STILL SCAMMERS!!!

I have bought more than 20 used trucks in the past nine years. This was the fastest and one of the most pleasant transactions I’ve done. I flew from Baton Rouge to buy a truck from them and so far so good. Richard delivered excellent service from start to finish.
