“I love this place! Went in yesterday to check it out. They have bulk household products with an easy process to bring your own containers. That helped me feel like I am doing my part to reduce plastic consumption. The employees are fantastic. They made me feel welcome into the store immediately. They even offered to bring in my favorite bulk product from Public Goods, the hand cream. I'm a new customer mind you, so that level of customer service is greatly appreciated. I will be making this health food store a frequent stop of mine if this store keeps doing exactly what it's doing. Kudos to the manager from one retail manager to another, you run a tight ship.”

“This place used to be very special to me. My dog died 43 days ago and this is where I once bought some dog food. It makes me realize two very important things. A: dogs are barking and you can't fly without umbrellas. B: you should never look backwards into the abyss called human existence. The journey is overwhelming. They also have great candy, I hear.”

Edit: There is a man named Jose who works in the produce section. He is a bully! My mom is disabled and when we shop she uses the shopping cart for support, this "man" rips the cart away from my mom because he didn't like where she was standing and my mom almost fell then he yells at us to move, mind you no one was even near us so we were not blocking anybody's path. We have spoken to everyone from cashiers to corporate about him. Town Talk even gave us a couple of gift cards as an apology and even offered for an employee to shop with us to protect us from him! How messed up is that?!? The last time we were in there together we were walking into the cooler and he walked up behind us and said "You and all your drama need to get out of my way" Now my mom has anxiety attacks at the thought of shopping there because she is so scared of him. Now to protect myself I have my phone recording while I'm in the produce section. Do better Town Talk!”
“I’ve always liked this store and now I have even more reason. Recently my car battery decided to die at their gas pump. It was evening, and I told the attendant I’d have to leave it there and take an Uber home. He called the manager on duty, who came out and jump started my car! The attendant then told me Auto Zone would still be open and should be able to replace my battery (which they did). I’m sorry I didn’t get these two very kind gentlemen’s names but I’m extremely grateful to them for getting me through a tough situation!”

I had a rough morning and then I had the pleasure of Joshua helping me out and relieving some of my stress everyone I have encountered this morning already has just been soul draining and Joshua brightened my morning back up and I'm ready to go to work. Corporate needs to get their act together and make using their app and coupons and checking out easier!
Now they want you scanning the QR code on the app instead of plain using your old fashioned phone number, for the coupons to work!
Bruce was a gentleman helping me out so early in the day, before customer service desk is normally open. I was so frustrated because this was the second time the coupons didn’t work. He got my charges and discounts straightened out and he is so pleasant to have encountered.
I’ll continue going to this store just because of Bruce. Thank you, sir.”

“I love Tom Thumb! Even though their prices are a little higher than most all of the other grocery stores in town, the quality is amazing. The bakery department specifically has the best treats and cake, decorations, and all kinds of stuff! However, the person that decorates the cakes, so beautifully is not the same person That writes the names on the cakes. I always stop to get a cake from Tom Thumb for my coworkers when it’s someone’s birthday. I always get a beautifully decorated cake that tastes amazing. But when I ask to get someone’s name added, it’s always the person with horrible penmanship that writes it. They are clearly not cake decorators. I’m not sure why you would volunteer to write on a cake when you know you have ugly handwriting. There’s never a cursive option or even a different tip to match the decor.. It’s always some skinny string letter writing in all capital letters that just does not match the cake at all. It kind of ruins the whole thing because is why would you write like on this cake?! Outside of that, Tom Thumb is amazing. that’s why I gave this review five stars anyway.”
“Holy cow--the cakes here are DIVINE. Came here yesterday with my brother in law and niece and picked out a tres leche cake for my birthday and it was SO good. So beautifully decorated. I don't have pictures because we ate it all. The lady behind the counter served us with a smile and everyone was friendly. Definitely coming here again!!!”

“Love this location especially when I need some last minute products for dinner. The store itself is normally very cleaned and not thing in the aisle ways. They do occasionally have stockers or grocery pickers that get in the way but they have always been super considerate when they see you’re needing something behind the carts they are using.”
“Go to shop for your snacks, smokes, drinks, food, wine, candy, chocolate, pizza, wings, hot dogs. Above all, they always have had ice cold twisted tea in stock when i need them most! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The owner is a good guy! Highly recommend.”

I shop at four stores: HEB, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, and Target when I treat myself?I brought all my detergent and dryer sheets from here! “They had lamb. Took my mother there after a day of shopping. I'd been getting her groceries from the W app. She grabbed yogurt, salmon and stuff She forgot. The German food is great. Try their salmon slices! It's across from the fresh meat. Mom got 4 packages of lamb. We had our bags. It was easy going and we didn't have to go Pantego.”
