“This is one of the nicest Big Lots stores I have ever been in. I was really impressed with their toy selection and furniture. The variety was a lot of fun and so impressive, especially for the prices!
The furniture was a fraction of the price you would find at a traditional furniture store, and it was super comfortable. I was impressed. Some of their sofas were a little smaller, so much more suited to my living space than the massive sets I've found elsewhere lately. They may have had larger sets too, but I'm not sure.
Living room, bedroom, and outdoor furniture sets, plus indoor and outdoor games and toys... I loved the variety and the prices. Oh, and the employees were so friendly and helpful! I will definitely go back whenever I'm in the area.”

“I love this Dollar General because they have everything I need and the price is great. When I say I live below my means on purpose oh I mean that!! I shop at four stores: HEB, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, and Target when I treat myself I brought all my detergent and dryer sheets from here! I am on my second container and Sundays& Mondays are Laundry Days no exceptions. I love driving across town coming here and stocking up on products✌?I used to lived in this area before moving one of my colleagues lives in the area also. Small world!! “There are two ladies that have the best customer service in the world!!! Rose and the other young lady that worked on Sat 9/30/23 the morning shift. I have never experienced such a pleasant experience in any other dollar general, I live closer to a different one, but from yesterday going forward I will only go to that one off New York and park row . I did get the ladies name , but unfortunately I can’t find it now. I hope the general manager sees this and knows those two young ladies makes that store worth the gas and time just driving there. A big thank you to the two employees that worked Saturday morning 9/30/23 around 11 am???”

“Kelvin was an absolute prince. I live in Salt Lake City and my daughter is in Texas. We are having her baby shower and I could not find Martinellis sparkling cider bottles anywhere. I called Kelvin, he had them and put them aside for me. He helped me carry all the bottles to my car.! Absolute gentleman and the store is really nice”

“This is the Dollar General I shop at all the time. The associates always complain about working and show how they would rather be elsewhere than serving customers like we are a burden to be shopping the store. The store is always messy but thats all Dollar Generals.”

“This store (1527 s bowen rd ) is always stocked and beautiful when you walk into the store,it's the best one around all the other dollar general stores around my area are never stoked and very rude i.e the one on green Oaks rd 76006 area hint hint.but not this place I drive all the way hear just to shop in peace and find the things I NEED and they have it, Also the best 2 people who work their are Teresa and Mark they are always here and busy but still have time to be nice with a smile and help when asked every time. This store needs to be a model store for all the other's. This place really out does them self for customers”

“I haven’t shopped here in years, but this was the cleanest location I’ve ever seen! I found so many great things for such a low price. Lower than Burlington but just as good. I will definitely come back in a month once they restock. The only con was the cashier. She wasn’t friendly AT ALL. Kind of brought the morale down because everyone at the entrance was saying welcome to DD’s. Not enough to take down stars though because I accomplished what was needed.”

“Return process was quick, hassle free and no questions asked with proof of receipt. I was refunded my $ and I am happy however; very disappointed about the Office Hub Sticky Lined Sheets 80 count not being sticky enough to stick onto paper, books, wall calendars or any surface as a matter of fact.”
“Went to this store this morning and needed a certain size Sprite. They had it but I couldn't get to it for the stock carts. I asked the manager and she more or less blew me off. There's another DG right up the street. Always clean with no stocking carts. Going there from now on. Found a new DG right down the street. Guess I'll eat some crow. Went there this morning and the store looked great. Debbie the manager was very friendly and helpful.”

“While similar to TJmaxx and Ross, you'll find brands here that you won't anywhere else. Labels from big box, department and online stores at the best prices you can find. The occasional luxury items are competitive with the RealReal. Go when you have time to spend but that time is usually worth it if looking for clothes. I've had success finding good quality jeans, dressy casual and athletic; women's suit jackets are usually nice but limited. Home goods and shoes are more iffy. Before you fall in love with something check it over very well, I've seen slashed items, tench coats with missing cuff doo-dads, etc. They have changing rooms. If the signs and organization seem confusing ask a sales clerk for a quick overview, they're very nice.”
“This is the best Dollar General store I’ve been to. Good management and the store is clean and well stocked. It has a great neighborhood feel for this area of southwest Arlington that I’ve grown up in. Angela and Amanda know me when I walk in and are always so kind. I go here because I always feel welcome and because there are great deals and a well stocked store.”
