I had a small issue with my pickup truck, and these fine folks gave me a repair estimate over the phone. My wife was kind enough to drop my truck off for me since my work schedule is pretty crazy these days.
I got a phone call with the exact cost of repairs, including parts and labor. It was a job that younger me probably could have done, but wiser me said spend some of that $$ that you've been saving.
Wife picked up the truck and paid the folks, and what I could have done in 8 hours....well, they billed me for 1 hour labor plus parts.
When you say you want an honest mechanic, give these people a try.

GREAT SHOP
I have been using Crawford & Bargas for over 20 years. They recently did work on my Dodge Ram. Coolant Flush, fuel injection cleaning service, rear differential service, two front shocks, new spark plugs, oil change, drive belt & tensioner, And new compressor and compressor kit. totally satisfied brought it in on a Thursday, & got it out on Monday. Good people can’t recommend them enough.

UPDATE: they did not install all the screws to hold the motor in where it connects to the transmission! It cost $2,300 at the dealership to have it repaired luckily it didn't damage the motor or the transmission! And to have the audacity to tell me you were going to charge me just to look at it I can't help but wonder if it was an attempt to scam me for more work to be done. This business hasn't been the same since the old owner left. Took it to dealership and they said it was NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY! The business is no longer owned by the original owner.And the shop is no longer a respectable business. I have taken to the dealership for repairs. Do not give them your business this isn't the first time they've done us wrong.

When I contacted them regarding looking at it they said they would but it would probably cost me more money because I ordered the motor, which was checked when it arrived and told me it was in really good shape. I told them there was no way I was going to Fork out any more money after I just paid them $2,600 and it was obvious they made a mistake. Took it to dealership and they said it was NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY! The business is no longer owned by the original owner.And the shop is no longer a respectable business. I have taken to the dealership for repairs. Do not give them your business this isn't the first time they've done us wrong. Looking into attorney to sue!

Save your time, money, energy, and sanity. If you bring your car here for diagnostics, be prepared to stay with your car or they will begin to work on your car with out your permission and then expect you to pay for it. NEVER AGAIN will my car set tire on this CHOP shops property. If I had read these reviews prior, I wouldn't have dared let my husband bring my car here. And then they lied about 1 hour labor costing $100 an hour when the process of what they "cleaned" with my taillights doesn't even take 15 minutes to complete. Then he said he'd get me out of there for $57.50 and charged me $115. Never again.

Crawford & Bargas IMHO is THE BEST auto and truck repair shop in the DFW area. I have used their services on a couple of my autos, trucks, and my SUV and they have always been great tech’s, honest, priced well, and on-time to get the needed repairs completed.
I highly recommend their service!
