RUN! We were here for a little over a year and he was bit multiple times from same child (that they said he would transfer out) but never did. The worst incident was something from the top shelf fell on my sons face and left him a bruise and there was no incident occurrence report. I found out from teacher assistant. High turnover here ! other safety issues! when i took my child out the next month they charged me a curriculum fee and will not refund? very shady place! check out the montessori daycare across the street

We had our son here for a year before we moved and I can’t say enough good things about the admin and teachers. We always felt he was in safe, loving hands. His teacher Ms Stephanie is incredible and his favorite person in the world and we were so sad to leave.

I write this with a heavy heart. It’s very sad to say they didn’t live up to my expectations.I was recommended Lighthouse by a very close friend, who had a very different experience than I had.My son had issues adjusting to a big crowd and he was labeled ‘the problem child.’ Not once did I ever condone his actions, but a child should be treated like a child. His 2 year old teachers were really kind, Ms Blanca and Ms Jade, but I can’t say the same about the lead teacher when he transferred to the 3 year old class. Even though they seemed like they were helping initially, I didn’t see that reflected in their actions or interactions with him after his issues began. Every little act was written up, and I don’t believe the teacher showed positive reinforcement, though the administration claimed they did. I didn’t see the compassion and nurture he should’ve been exposed to.Further, it’s very disappointing to know they didn’t give us any advance notice, though they said they would. We were called in for a meeting and told he would be disenrolled that day.I am forever grateful to Ms Blanca and Ms Jade, and I wish them the best in their future endeavors. But the administration was not at all as they advertised during our first visit.

My daughter suffered neglect at the hands of her teachers and when I complained I received no response and lack of compassion at the hands of the staff. I left so helpless. I tried to give them another chance but the lack of communication and the obvious lack of empathy is astonishing.

The teachers are very good, they are very patient with the kids. The facility is clean and well kept. I love how they have various activities that involve the families as well.

I love this daycare, my baby is so happy here and so do I. I get notifications about diaper change, feeding, naps, activities and I also have access to the cámaras, both apps that Lighthouse uses are amazing and also his teachers are super sweet. I had him in the waiting list since I was 3 months pregnant and he got in at 6 months.

I left Lighthouse due to number of reasons but the biggest reason was due to the lack of compassion and caring the director had towards my child. He had too many incidents to count. Each time he had an incident I wanted to see what action plans the director had to prevent further problems. I felt I was on my own. I had always come up with plans and discussed with the teachers. But the director had no involvement. I still wanted to stay and work it out. Finally I left because my son had a laceration under his chin that requires stitches. I wanted to see the camera so I can discuss preventions with the director and teachers. The teacher was very kind and told me what time it happened so we could view it on camera. The director Mrs. Ashley said no recording was done because the camera was live. Should anything happened to your child and she said no recording at this technology age. Mrs. Ashley never followed up on his chin but only asked how he was after I called and told her I needed to pull my son out. Lighthouse would be better if it was run by a more caring director to discuss solutions for a safer environment.

Overall, this is a very good school and I have never questioned my child's safety here. There seems to be a lot of turnover in certain classrooms, and many of the staffers in classrooms seem to really have no qualifications to be instructors (and have no plans to get any further, related education). It may be the same at every day care, but it's hard to swallow at this price point. Many of the people my child is dealing with are truly just babysitters. I know it is difficult to find teachers -- and employees in general -- these days. But this location loses people constantly -- possibly pointing to a problem with management or ownership. There are no better options in the area, so parents stick with it and don't complain.

The teachers are great. The administrators have no business in education. The turnover is OUTRAGEOUS for this reason. Communication is non existent and my 3 year old says “I’m scared” when approaching. He is fine once in the classroom but is scared to death of the director and refuses to speak to her. He shuts down and goes silent.

We had a rough start but now I couldn’t be happier. My son loves going to school and the teachers/ management staff will address your concerns and ensure your child is taken care of. He has learned so much and has met some great friends along the way. Thank you for caring for our children!!

No communication. They are extremely unprofessional, immoral, and unethical. The pack 30 2-3 year olds in a room and then place blame on the children when their expectations aren't met. They give developmentally inappropriate work for toddlers and then suggest your child is "behind". Refused to follow doctors orders and continued to send my child home when he wasn't sick. For the price you pay you are better off going where they have certified professionals. This place just puts an adult in the classrooms with NO experience whatsoever ever. The early infant and toddler teachers are great and truly have patience and do what is right by the kids but after that the constant turnover is a problem.when you have a DIRECTV that tells the teachers not to communicate issues with parents because we are actually involved and had complaints, you know you have issues. They are only in it for the money and not the kids. Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere.

My son had the best experience at children'slate house it was like familee he was able toalarm and a comfortable safe environment And every day my son would show improvements. She was cared for why not only his teachers which were great but the staff also. I would definitely recommend this company To anyone looking for child care. My son will miss being there and we are hopeful to get him back one day soon

Our son has been here for about 2 years, and he has really blossomed socially. I feel like he's much better prepared for heading to Kindergarten, and as a parent that certainly helps take some of the stress off of him heading to the "school age school" as he likes to call it!

My daughter has been at Children’s light house since she was 5 months old. She is now about to turn 3. She loves going to school and has learned a lot! We love the curriculum and care she receives!
