Most of the plants are overwatered and not worth getting as they die a short time after bringing home, without touching them. Not sure what changed, but each time I've visited throughout 2024 it seems a lot of the stock is overwatered. It's pretty clear that whoever is watering isn't fully trained on how to take care of the plants. Y'all are killing a lot of plants and losing a lot of money because of this issue - just saying.

Workers watering the plants were very polite and kept asking if I had any questions or help they were there to help me, after looking around for a hour and picking my plants I go to checkout and this rude cashier over charged me and had a really rude attitude. I asked why was I overcharged for pansies as ivy plants and he said they were all the same price, I then asked that the sign says 1.99 and if he could just honer the price advertised. His voice became rude and was mad at me for asking if he rung me up wrong ?? Overall he was extremely rude, had an attitude and when confronted instead of being helpful or making the problem right he became mad and aggressive. BTW I only had 4 ivy and 6 pansies was overcharged a little under $7

I’m new at being a plant “Mom” I have bought 5 plants in the last month. I was looking for a particular plant and decided to come here . I came and was not greeted by anyone after about 10-15 minutes a middle age white lady comes to me and ask “ What are you looking for “ I tell her and she say she’s never heard of it so I continue to look around she says “Girl come on we’re closing “ I immediately got upset and told her that she was rude . I preceded to the register to purchase the small pink splash plant. The cashier hears me telling the other lady how rude she is offered assistance she didn’t know of the plant either and ask the elder lady who said she knew of the plant but didn’t offer any assistance. The middle age lady tells me that she was just playing with me and apologize as she walks me to the door. I accept her apology but I will never shop here again. I felt discriminated against
1star is for the cashier( she had ear tunnels)
1star for this cute little plant .

Staff is so helpful and located through out the store so you have staff ready and available to assist you! Prices are higher than other nursery's the sales and clearance items bring them down responsible and the rewards program help reduce cost. They have a gorgeous selection of outdoor wonders plants, mulch, potting soils, yard art, and anything outdoor needs you can think of. Hours and location a great and convenient Minday through Feiday 9-6 daily. Don't forget to look online to get your monthly coupons as well.

I have been going to Calloway’s for years mainly because of Dana May. She has planted baskets & pots for me for almost 20 years! She is always kind & very knowledgeable & helpful. I have spent more money @ Calloway’s than almost anywhere & will continue to do so because of Dana. And I have brought many people to the N. Arlington store because of Dana.You have to keep her happy so she stays at ALL costs!Thank you!
