Purchased my red leather couch at By Design several years ago and I’m very happy with the quality. It’s stylish and has held up to our two teenagers. I returned this year for an easy chair, coffee table and end tables.

I visited this store because the rating was a 5.0 and the reviews matched the rating, so I was overly excited!! I always read the reviews before I go into any establishment, ANYWHERE ! So I walked in thinking I would get, at the very least, a greeting.... I was sadly mistaken. Three employees huddled around each other and didn't acknowledge me at all !!! Not till I walked past them, I was spoken to briefly by one sales rep and then continued on with the conversation he was engaging in prior to me walking in. I walked all the way to the back and up just to see if they would even acknowledge me again, as I was walking back to the front, heading out the door, that same employee, stated "anything I can help you with?" I was like no, I'm leaving. The disrespect was evidently trained to all the employees upon working here! I would rather them following me around the entire time thinking I was "casing the place" verses to be blatantly ignored. I was definitely interested in what that had to offer before I walked in, now I want NOTHING TO DO WITH BY DESIGN.

This store has a nice selection of high quality, modern & contemporary furniture for the entire home. Mid century modern to Scandinavian style furniture. Excellent customer service!

We love this store, they have high quality unique furniture and excellent service. We recently bought a modern home and bought majority of our furniture and lighting here, everything turned out great, delivery and assembly went smooth and our looks amazing. They really helped us with the entire design concept. Definitely recommend!!!

Just had a complete living room delivered (2 recliners, sofa, loveseat and cocktail tables). It was done by the owner himself and a couple of helpers. I must say they know their stuff, both in regards to setting everything up but also in the demonstration and product care of the leather. Btw. it's not the first time we have bought furniture from this store and we live 25 miles away many other options closer but not the service and product knowledge and selection. We are definitely going there again next time!

Henrick is a master at furniture. The Norwegian Stressless furniture he sells is expensive AND totally worth every penny. The delivery staff are experienced masters at what they do, too.

The best place to buy contemporary furniture! We have bought soooo many things here for multiple homes in multiple states. The owner is an amazing guy, he will go to great lengths to accommodate whatever you need! I cannot say enough good about the store and the owner. I will say that we would never shop anywhere else for contemporary furniture!

I bought my dining room table and chairs and have really enjoyed them. The chairs fit everyone's body and are really comfortable. Going back later for recliners.
