I went on a Saturday afternoon early in the day, close to opening time. The skating area is huge, so there is plenty of space to skate around and practice. The rink itself is a square instead of an oval like many other DFW rinks. They've got lots of lockers to put your stuff in and plenty of seating as well. The music at the time was very poppy and top 40s, which is fine if you're into that.

Absolutely awful roller rink experience! The place was a disaster – sticky floors, malfunctioning roller skates, and dim lighting that made it hard to see. Staff were nowhere to be found when needed, and the whole place felt neglected. Save your money and skate elsewhere!

I booked the private rink for my daughter's birthday party. When I booked it I was a bit shocked at the price. It's pretty pricey and the skate trainers are $5 each in addition. However, the price is for 30 skaters and it does come with an attendant. The kids had a phenomenal time and the music I requested was provided perfectly. The dj/helper was wonderful. He was available to help set up, play songs and games, serve food, and help clean up (I learned you can leave everything and they will clean up,
but we cleaned up as best we could). Throughout the party, he was there asking what I needed and communicated with me throughout. Even the other parents talked about how wonderful he was. He also let us in early to set up (don't expect this, the rules state you only get 10 minutes, but it was so helpful to have this extra time). He also didn't rush us out although our skaters were out on time. I do feel it is over priced as it doesn't come with anything other than the space but my experience was pretty great and my daughter, her friends, and the other parents had a lot of fun. Side note: there are a good amount of tables for seating, cakes, decor, presents, etc; it worked perfectly for us. And with someone as helpful as I had today makes the price more conceivable. I had a lot of helpers already but it was really nice to have another team player.

Attended home study day, was a great group of kids, staff was friendly ....entry price was decent. Skates smelled bad and end of laces were frayed , unable to easily relace. Snack bar prices were to high, quality and quantity of food was very low. This place was neat but needs a good deep cleaning. Bathrooms smelled like urine. Overall my kids had a great time but for the high amount of money I paid, I would have appreciated a cleaner, updated environment and more affordable snacks and gluten free options

I grew up running skating rinks and have been to many, this one is far above average, but they could use another person in their snack bar the lane is extremely slow That's the only criticism I would have, this place is really good.

Asked multiple times for soap dispensers in the restrooms to be refilled. And multiple times they said they would, by the end of the night still nothing. Nasty is the word for this place.

They’ve changed their locker system and this is not apparent. I went to the skate counter to see how to go about purchasing a locker and the dark curly hair guy told me it is all digital and directed me to a kiosk to purchase a locker. I am at the kiosk paying for a $5 unlimited locker as directed not knowing the kiosk is for another set of lockers that are nowhere in sight. After paying at the kiosk, I select a pin and am so confused as to how this works. I then go to the prize booth, where a young lady with dark long hair was standing and I say to her that I paid for a locker and given the locker number but cannot get into it. She asks immediately after if I paid for the locker and I replied yes and then she states that she’ll call the manager because she doesn’t know how it works. I walk back to the lockers I asked about, the ones right in front of the rink. I walk back to prize counter and asks if the manager was called and walked back to the locker again. Minutes later the manager, low cut black hair, walks up to me and asked if I had a question about the locker. I tell him I can’t get into it and he states that I paid for a digital locker. I proceed to tell him how I went to one person asking how to pay for the 50cent locker and he directed me to the kiosk. I informed him that I wanted a locker in front of the rink and he tells me all lockers are $5 so I couldn’t get the difference back from the locker I initially wanted and he can give me a key to the one I wanted in particular. He goes to get the key gives it to me but then states, if it not a problem he needs something from me like my keys or “something” because people have left with their key and they just want to make sure they don’t have to charge me for a key. So I stated, that I won’t leave without the key and I’d rather hold on to my keys and all my other belongings which is the purpose of the locker I wanted to purchase. I gave him the key back and for my $5 and let him know that all of what had just taken place is ridiculous.•Have clear signage.•All employees should be made aware what is offered and what is not that way they can clearly communicate what’s offered and what is not or in this case state “ we do make the keys for the lockers located directly by the rink easily accessible because XYZ.•All lockers are $5•Lockers located directly by the rink requires management to hold keys or credit card to prevent XYZ•If management prefers more engagement from kiosk over traditional lockers COMMUNICATE that the lockers are no longer available.

I personally didn't like this place, it's more of a children skating place more than anything. I kept having children running into me and some adults skating all crazy. I just didn't like the atmosphere. I'm use to adult skating atmosphere. This place is great. if you want to take the kiddos or have a birthday party for kids.

The Arlington Skatium has been a staple in this community and am thankful they have been operating as long as they have. That being said, the price to get in is a little steep but ok. I have never encountered a problem like I did yesterday. After I entered I was politely greeted and our transaction began. The young lady behind the window told me the amount would be $15.16. No problem, I gave her $20.25. She took my cash and then saw the quarter and told me
"I already ran it"
(Puzzled) I asked "Ran What, I gave you cash?"
She said, "I can't take the quarter because my drawer will be short"
I quickly asked "How will your drawer be short"
She said "because I already ran it"
again "Ran What?"
She said "if I take the quarter, my drawer will be short"
This exchange went on for far too long. This girl infuriated me! She then proceeded to complain very loudly over their walkie talkies about me. As I stood at the skate rental area, I told them she was talking about me and they quickly muted them. The manager came and spoke with me and agreed her drawer would be short. I am appalled at how absurd this whole thing was.

I broke my ankle here. Prepare for a tangent.Me and my sister came on August 30th, 2023 as a part of a LRHS event and entry was around $8-9 to get in, so it was around $20 if memory serves. This gets you in the door and a pair of old heavy skates. This does NOT cover the additional ~$5.99 for a trainer, which you WILL need if this is your first time (It was for both me and my sister, we didn't have enough so we went without it). I don't know why they charge for a critical piece of equipment, especially when this piece is maybe $2 worth of PVC pipes and wheels from Home Depot. My sister ended up not skating after my injury, so we completely wasted $20+ and however many thousands my medical bills come out to. I would advise new skaters to either prepare to spend extra or AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU LIKE INTACT, FUNCTIONAL ANKLES. I would advise this business to offer the trainer for free, because frankly it's ridiculous to charge for something new skaters will need to avoid injuries.
