I’ve used independent financial for 2 years now for my business accounts and I’d say that I am just barely satisfied enough to stay. My main complaints would be:1) It is not a Quickbooks friendly bank. You’ll have to manually upload your transactions whereas they could update automatically on its own.2) Most of the time the employees are okay to deal with. HOWEVER for some reason it always takes 10-20 minutes to make any type of transaction with a human. I’m not sure if that is because of the process they work with or if it’s the employees dragging their feed but Point Bank and Wells Fargo are much better as far as speed and service.3) The loan process is not recommended. Every time we get a meeting to discuss a business loan of any type they are always little to no help whereas other banks make the process very easy and fast for us to be able to make moves on opportunities.4) never any MAJOR problems though so that’s one thing to be thankful for.I hate to ever say bad about a business but just had to be honest. I’m not leaving and I hope things get better in the future so I can come back to edit this to 5 stars!

We have had an account with this bank, for 18+ years, and it has been a great experience. To actually speak with an employee that will listen, and respond to concerns. Such a delight!!

My father passed away last year and his estate account is at Independent Bank in Argyle. I live out of state and have had to work with the bank virtually on estate issues. The bank manager has been incredibly supportive and efficient in helping me manage his bank accounts and financial activities. I greatly appreciate the services they have provided.

Customer service has hit the toilet since converting from North Star. Policies changed without adequately informing customers. When calling to clarify, the teller LAUGHED when we expressed concern and told us the policy changed a couple months ago. We've done our banking with them since 2013 and never had a problem until today no matter what policy supposedly changed “months agoâ€. In short, if you're considering doing business with this bank, be warned.
