Simply a great destination on a budget! Friendly and safe.They have remodeled cleaning the entire property! New beds that are super comfortable with soft pillows. Directly down the road from the best tacos in the county, fishing and docks! Tile floors flat screens laundry and a proud management that provides great service upgraded stays and reasonably priced stay that shine above others! Way to show Pelican Inn

Do NOT STAY here! Are rooms not supposed to be clean? Well we took a shower as soon as we get in our room because we'd been out fishing all day. As we are about to go to bed. We lift up the covers and see that the bed has no fitted sheet cover but does have a bed protector but it's stained with urine stains I'm guessing. So we look at the other bed and find food crumbs or skin. Idk!!!! Along with dark curly hair. Mind you I have brown/ blondish color hair. As for my cousins room he said after taking a shower. He dropped his towel and saw blood on it. Then these people want to tell us there are no refunds after check in. BS! And because we had already used the room!! Well did they even clean it after the last person used it?!?! Apparently not! If the other persons food and hair were still left behind! GROSS!! Pay the extra $20-$50 dollars somewhere else. Then the ppl next door said that one of the other rooms was infested with huge bedbugs.No thank you ! I'm out !

This place is absolutely disgusting, it's clear that no one has cleaned in years. We think they may be in the middle of renovating but done using cheap labor and materials. Our room was practically falling apart, exposed wire, light bulbs hung on the wall by tape, broken off pieces of wood, etc. our shower was completely stained red, unsure of what it was. overall dirtiest place I've ever stepped foot in. Hotel was very cheap but honestly you can find a hell of a lot better with an extra $20.

The Pelican Inn has very accommodating owners and house keeping. I have been here long enough to learn the young couple aquired this place about a year ago and they are making many renovations. There are some that have submitted negative reviews. But you do not live here but yet come to enjoy the environment here. That's why we live in this area as well. So I ask you to appreciate both the wild Life and the fact that this family is trying to turn this Motel around.

This place is horrible! The pictures on their website must have been taken when the place first opened because it looks nothing like them. Stained up sheets, smelled nasty, dirty walls, trim missing and holes in the wall. Will never stay here again..
