This is a Great rest stop very clean and right when you enter Texas.Lots of parking and well lit.Kid friendly.Good spot to sit and have some food or take a walk. Highly recommended

This is the cleanest travel center I have been to so far on this trip. The people in the welcome center were so friendly and helpful.

Very clean facilities. Great place to stop on a long trip. There are several shaded areas with picnick tables. It's very quiet and peaceful.

Great rest area to take 10 hr DOT break. That is unless you're here between 7am-12pm M-F when the local CDL schools take over the parking lot. Have no respect for OTR drivers trying to get some sleep.

This is a huge rest area/visitor center right after we crossed the state line into Texas. Easy on and off but we managed to miss the freeway entrance after leaving here. We did not use the restrooms since we were in our RV but did go inside the visitor enter. Staff were courteous and friendly. Lots of information, booklets, and pamphlets for travelers into Texas. Great stop!

Wow! This was the nicest visitor I've ever seen, in ANY state yet, and the only staffed visitor center I've seen in 2 weeks. It was really nice, large parking areas, little picnic areas, bathrooms you would expect to find in a nice restaurant. FREE MAPS! Actual maps, not just a sign. They showed me how to take a scenic route to avoid an accident, and it led me to one of the most amazing views I've seen yet. I'm only a couple miles into Texas and blown away already.

Great to have at the border of state with so much info on things to see & do and to have knowledgeable staff. I've just toured in 9 western states & Colorado was the only other one with such nice facilities & staff. Great Job Texas!

If sensible prison reform includes RESTRIPING for more truck parking space, I'll be in favor! Seriously! For greater public safety, I wouldn't want those truckers woken up when the escaping detainee comes running between the too tightly parked semis, chased by dogs, bumping into the mirrors, and then those truckers trying to safely navigate dense El Paso TX traffic! You wouldn't want that either, would you? Safe and enjoyable travels!

Very large rest area with plenty of parking and tables in the shade. The bathrooms are open 24 hours and there are a couple vending machines. Overall a clean and decent facility!
