Zoo Health Club in Anna, Texas has truly exceeded my expectations as a go-to fitness location for workouts.One of the standout features of this fitness club is its outstanding equipment. The gym boasts a wide variety of top-of-the-line machines, weights, and exercise tools that cater to every fitness enthusiast's needs. The equipment is impeccably maintained, ensuring a smooth and safe workout experience. Whether I'm looking to focus on cardio exercises, strength training, or functional movements, Zoo Health Club has it all, allowing me to tailor my workouts according to my fitness goals.

This is a great no-frills gym with great equipment. If you weight train, this is a great gym. They have small space for some classes.

Not a very good gym at all. And the owner I had to deal with was a coward and wouldn’t come talk to me face to face (even though he was at the gym when I needed to talk to him) long story short I was a member there for about a year and when I signed up they promised me 24 hr access and I would be able to box whenever I wanted. Then they did alot of renovations to the boxing area, closed the door, and decided that the customers had to pay EXTRA to box and one can only go onto the boxing area during staffed hours. As a working class American who has the standard hours of 8-5 I couldn’t make these hours, and I refuse to pay extra for something I was already promised for free. This is just not a very honest Bussiness in my opinion at all.

Unable to get ahold of anyone to get a membership- terrible customer service. Wish I could get in to give a more comprehensive review but no one apparently is willing to do their job here.

The new owner and the new employees that they've hired are amazing! Unfortunately, I had to cancel as I have moved out of state to North Carolina and there is no Zoo Gym here. However, the cancellation process was very seamless and the new staff is much more accessible and responsive now - including being regularly available during the work day. If you live in North Texas, this is a great gym and I have high hopes for the new ownership and staff at the Anna, TX location! The 24 hour access, affordability, and equipment can't be beat!

I have been trying to cancel my membership with no luck. Lots of back and forth emails and phone calls. Now they want me to send a letter in. I waited until my contract was up and I want to be done. Aside from the fact that the gym was mediocre at best, I no longer live in the area. When I lived there, I used the Workout Anytime, but switched to the Zoo because it was right across from my house. I would highly recommend Workout Anytime over this gym. Much better equipment/clean facility/attentive customer service.

Worst company ever for customer service. I have called 8 times, left 3 messages, drove up to the store front and I cannot even get ahold of someone to even sign up and pay these people for a membership. Cannot even image how bad it must be to attempt to cancel a membership when I can even get ahold of them to take my money.

The gym has been shut down. The new owner failed to pay rent, utilities and salaries. Further more, members lost 1/3 of the gym to a new cardio boxing program so the weight area is very tight and when its busy (more than 10 people) you can't get around anything. There are 3 other gyms in the area.

Started going here in August of 2021, after almost 9 months of working out I've used 95% of the equipment. The Zoo has great staff, a friendly and inviting environment, and a great location. If you're considering The Zoo I wouldn't hesitate to get a membership.

Expect trouble when you give this business your credit card information. I tried cancelling this gym back in February only to be given the wrong email address after Caleb wasn't there a few times. After figuring this out a few months later, I went back in to try and cancel in person. After getting yet another email address since Caleb never is there, He was persistent on charging me for August even though I was trying to cancel (for the second time) in early July and even explained how I tried cancelling earlier in the year. Now after I refused to pay for a whole month i'm not using, his billing company (which couldn't cancel my membership unless you're 30 days out?) Is very quick at sending the money to collections. Instead of being ethical and working with customers, Caleb would rather have his 28 dollars. Oh well, eventually this kind of customer service will catch up with him and his business as Anna continues to grow. As others have said, Stay Far Away and look at going to the other gym options in Anna, since this gym will surely give you a headache over a decent workout.

I have had an ongoing billing issue with this gym (as many people have) that began 07/13 . Caleb Shoaf has responded ONE time on 07/23 (10 DAYS LATER) with no resolution. I have emailed and called numerous times and the front desk kids are obviously no help.Do not let them put your card on file , because to cancel or resolve any billing issue Caleb will never respond. He is active on our Facebook community page but can’t respond to his professional email?The facility itself always has a dirty black floor, all equipment is on last limbs ,only ONE stair master , never have Ac working so this heat… RIDICULOUS!For 15 a month, planet fitness is better than this faculty and that’s a low bar.
