I had Diagnostic appointment scheduled for my Lexus today at 10:00am (7/16/2024) at Gulf Coast Toyota, 3000 N. Hwy 288; Angleton Tx.
This is my "First visit" and it was not pleasant! Marcus, Service Advisor checked me in. About 11:45am-12noon, Marcus came with an update...stating I needed a Thermastat and a Catalytic Converter.
Marcus then stated he needed to get prices from Lexus??? Well, you said you service Lexus vehicles, so what are you calling about? I continued to sit until 1:00pm. I asked for the keys to my car, and bring it back up front.
Marcus stated he was still waiting for the "parts guy" to get back to him with the information??
I received my receipt, and paid for the Diagnostic. On my receipt it shows "several issues" that were not mentioned to me... but the receipt stated... recommendations made but customer "declined." None of those recommendations were ever made to me!! I left my email address, and asked them to please send me a quote! Well, checked my email and spam box at 2:50pm...no response from Gulf Coast Toyota!!!

My goodness, this was the best, easiest, and most importantly, safest I’ve ever felt buying a car. Alex Martinez was so upfront and real with me about the pricing. I bought a 2024 Grand Highlander Toyota Hybrid which are extremely rare on the market for the best price. I checked 3 other dealerships in the Houston Area and they were all ranging from 3K-10K more than the price Alex got it for me for. He was so diligent in making sure he got all the features we wanted and worked his magic to get us our dream car in a relatively short amount of time. The rest of the staff (Rich Gregory) and Carlos in finance were also very helpful and honest. I would 1000% recommend Alex Martinez if you’re looking to purchase a new car for a great price.

We were out of town visiting family this past weekend. Our brand new Grand Highlander encountered a problem with the key fob after we had to fix a flat tire. We tried troubleshooting ourselves but given our four hour road trip home, we decided to take it to a dealer in case it was something involving the ECU communications. The service department accommodated us the same day and were able to figure out the issue in less than five minutes.(The tire and key fob were completely unrelated, just bad timing). I would also like to add the establishment & restrooms were very clean, even on a rainy day. They even had a tidy area to accommodate children which isn’t common in car dealerships (but should be!) Thank you for your kindness and efficiency Gulf Coast Toyota!

My experience of working with Alex and Irving was nothing short of AMAZING!!! 10 OUT OF 10! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TEAM! I knew from my first conversation exchange with Alex that he was someone who would listen to our wants/needs. He was very personable, not your typical salesman at all. It wasn’t just business; you can tell that he’s in it for the rapport and building a relationship with people. We had looked all over Texas for a very specific tundra, and he had one, so we had planned to drive 9 hours to pick it up. Alex & Irving worked very hard within a matter of hours with getting numbers and ironing out a few kinks. We arrived right as the dealership was closing, but we didn't feel rushed. It was the quickest deal we had ever done. We were literally in and out in 15 minutes. Alex was nice enough to transfer everything from one truck to the other. Amazing customer service is something that will keep us coming back to this dealership, even though it is far from home lol. GIVE ALEX AND IRVING A RAISE! THEY DESERVE IT!

I have been a Toyota customer since 2016 and have had my car serviced in 3 other states and dealerships and I would love to say this is the best Toyota I have ever came across. I would like to recognize the services employees, Dakota and Brooke, the mechanics who work on my car and their manager John Williams. Everytime I get my car serviced here I receive outstanding customer service and the employees are always on top of things by making sure I get taken care of with 0 issues. They are very knowledgeable with every aspect of their job. I currently live in a different town and I don't feel comfortable going to their Toyota. I always wait to go back home just so I can get my car serviced with Gulf Coast. Thank you Gulf Coast Toyota!!!

have had such a horrible experience with them i got an oil change twice and both times my car oil was low I have called and told them of the problem so I went to Walmart the first time and brought a quart of oil and put it in my car then in august I let them change my oil again and it happen again so I call them and told them again but no one would let me speak to management so that time I went and brought oil from oreally in Clute tx and got someone to check the oil level and it was low with my car engine making a noise. So he put the oil in my car and it help the noise to calm down . So last Thursday my car engine blown out . So I call them and they only got my car towed there . But when speaking to me John he was rude and very aggressive that they were not at fault . So I asked to speak with another person so I got mr mark he call me and asked to speak to me about the situation at first he was on board with fixing my car and replacing my engine with no labor or cost to me but last Saturday it was no we are not fixing anything. So I have been asking to speak with the owner mr baldwin but nobody want to give him my information . So I would say don't buy here or let them do your service I been done wrong from being lied too . To being giving the run around and now being hassled Everyday . Stay away from this place I have no car now and do you think that care no they don't. I am a honorable person and that don't lie . I have spoken the truth but hopefully God shows y'all mercy because this right here is wrong and ungodly on some many levels.

I purchased a private party truck that had issues and ended up needing a new frame. Per Toyota they did not want to service my truck due to the condition of the frame and liability . I completely understood, and spent the last 2 months sourcing a new frame and finding someone to do the job. Fast forward to today I have a new suspension new rear end new frame rust free . My brakes are spongy and my alignment on my steering wheel is not aligned so I brought it in. 45 minutes later John the service manager and I speak and I am being told that he doesn't want to be married to my truck because of the rusted frame . I asked him if he even walked outside and saw that I have all new parts and new frame since the last time he saw it . Puzzled , walked outside and looked under my truck as if I was lying. Pretty terrible service if you ask me. If I bring you a job and I'm willing to pay money for that job to be completed you should be more grateful and less entitled to "cherry pick" customers and jobs. If I were the owner / GM and saw money being turned away I would be shocked. Money obviously isn't an object when it comes to upgrades or repairs on this truck . It's realistically a $6,000-$8,000 truck. I currently have about $20,000 into it. AND I DONT CARE. I will take my truck and my CASH that would be contributing to keeping the lights on at this place elsewhere. So everyone if you have a truck not under warranty support your local mom and pop places that work hard and don't just cherry pick jobs or focus on maintenance I.e oil changes only.
