Went to get information to change phones and update lines. I was checked in immediately, then waited for a couple to be attended to in front of me. Eventually, it was my turn. The next available attendant started just chilling around and not engaging with me, standing waiting in plain sight. A group of people walked in about 5-10minutes while I was waiting. The attendant rushed to check them in. I was still waiting. I waited some more time after the new people got checked in, still no help… I decided to leave.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

I walked in. Scanned the barcode at front door to check in and save my place in line.
I stood in the store for an hour.
Then I asked “Nathan” an employee if I can check in with him?
I asked him if scanning the barcode works?
He said, “unfortunately not”.
I told him that I checked in an hour by scanning the bar code.
The employee then told me that he didn’t appreciate my attitude and that they don’t do that here.??
Like what in the world just happed ?
I had 4 people standing next to me that heard the conversation.
They all said I didn’t have an attitude.
I simply asked a question and got attitude from the “Nathan” the Verizon employee.
I’d say the employee must be having a bad day.
After waiting 2 hours. I found out that “Nathan” himself never put me on the wait list.
That’s a horrible employee that needs to be fired immediately!!

Employees are not helpful or friendly. Ordered a phone online for box pick up. Received wrong phone and someone else's name on my receipt. Employee was hateful and unwilling to help.

They didn’t honor their online and television advertisements!!!! This is the second time at this store that I walked out, sadly to say, what is normally a 5 star from me will be a one (only because you can’t rate lower) and their service at this store is horrible!! I will decide whether to switch my service in the next few days as me being with them 19yrs doesn’t mean too much to Verizon anymore.

Not good service at all i went in ive been customer for years since 1990 when u was only a long distance company since that store didnt have manager maybe just maybe it will turn around i like verizon the store didnt make me welcomed thats all so as of now i only rated the visit maybe next time my visit be better

I they mailed my new Galaxy smartphone to my workplace as requested. I went to the Verizon store on I-40 and Coulter in Amarillo. I went there to get them to transfer my apps/information to the new phone. The rep started the process and left. He said it should take 30 minutes. It took much longer than 30 minutes. After the transfer was completed, the original rep had gone home. Another rep took over. She was more helpful and polite than the first. She said I should be able to do it myself. I had to keep calling this rep back as things weren't completed. She it should be completed. I left and went home. I discovered the transfer wasn't complete. I went back the next day. The first rep was acting as a greeter. The rep who had acted as if he didn't care if my phone transfer was complete greeted me. He tried and finally got most of the files/apps transferred. They basically gave me my phone and said I should be able to do it all myself. They think everyone knows how to do things with phones like they do.I would recommend going to another Verizon store and not this store.
