Me and my fiancé were members at this gym for over 9 months, there was a recent incident with one of their employees leaking me and my fiancé’s information to someone over the phone. Instead of apologizing and dealing with this issue they tried to cover it up and keep it closed. The owner “in a nice way” is extremely stuck up and snobby. Him and the woman that runs the gym both came up with their own story to cover up the extremely serious issue, which is a legal issue. We do have a lawsuit that is soon to be in place. All I can say is it isn’t a gym I would recommend going to. They claim to take care of their members and they don’t do so what so ever.

The cleanliness of this place has gone down. There are usually containers of food or dirty diapers left in the parking lot. The pools need cleaning. It could use a sunscreen cover to keep birds from perching and pooping in the water.

Verdure has become overcrowded and at times feels like a daycare. Machines require a lengthy wait, the facility can't keep up with the wear and tear, it is dirty and smelly. It's a far fall from where it started, and I recall visiting often just after it opened and being so impressed. Even the pool parties have degraded. Save your money and give another gym a try again. Also, their cancellation policy is dishonest - they charge an additional month as part of a "30 day notice" policy. Why? Is this a wedding venue? It's a blatant cash grab.

We have been members at this gym for over a year now and have had nothing but disappointment. We have canceled our membership and will not be returning, last summer we noticed some issues but this year has been especially bad. The pool is the highlight of this gym, and it is extremely under-maintained. The kiddie area is broken, certain parts don’t work and haven’t for the last 2 summers. Umbrellas are never put up throughout the pool area, so you have to take from the dining area or adult area if you want them. Lounging chairs are broken and fabric is ripping. Even if you pay for the family membership (which is upwards of $200 a month) you are still required to pay $25 every time you bring anyone who is not on your membership (even if they are family or under 18). We moved from out of state, so we have family visitors and it’s an absurd charge for one person but it is only enforced half of the time, depending on the staff that is checking you in. The AC is not well ventilated throughout the facility indoors, so it is very musty in the bathrooms and upstairs, at times it feels like it’s not even on.We thought this would be a great place but it’s very unfortunate that it is poorly managed and maintained. Hopefully this review will help some families, to not make the same mistake that we did in becoming members of Verdure.

(Former Employee) Place is Phenomenal!! Always clean and fantastic service- Frank is an amazing person who runs the place as well!BUT I give it 1 STAR because to bring a guest it’s $30 EACH TIME- that’s about just as much as the average membership anywhere else.. can never bring 3 of my buddy’s to workout, play basketball inside where there is AC, and swim- would be a terrific day if guest passes were $10 a person! ?

Verdure decided to get new equipment and charge all of it’s members a $50 fee on top of June’s bill without any notice. Reading past reviews, it appears this is a common practice. READ YOUR CONTRACTS CAREFULLY PEOPLE and don’t ever assume there won’t be shady fees without notice. I’m sure a lot of people are upset, and no one will answer the phone to address these issues. Instead they changed their voicemail to vaguely address it. I’m sure people have been calling like crazy to protest. The right thing to do would be to notify members of this upcoming charge. This would give people time to make arrangements or call management to discuss any concerns. I signed a contract for 1 year and agreed to the monthly fees that were maintainable in my personal finances. I did not sign a contract to donate additional fees in order to upkeep a gym that is already rolling in the dough off of membership fees, enrollment fees….$$$$. My membership is ending, and I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t been pleased with this contract or the facility and I sure didn’t ask to be a part of the financial responsibility for expansion, maintenance or equipment improvement. Verdure should bring in enough profit, being an upscale fitness facility, to upgrade equipment, maintain the property, etc without having to charge members extra. Listen to your members. Respect your members. We are the ones that keep this place going. I can’t imagine anyone would be pleased with this. Counting down the days until my family can get out of this contract. $2300+ for a year for my family, including sign up fees and miscellaneous fees. No thanks.

Have to pay an enhancement fee for what? The A/c doesn't have good circulation upstairs. Everything that breaks takes weeks if not months to fix. The water spout in the kiddie pool area hasn't been fixed in over 2 summers. Why do certain members get their own locker room? For as busy as it gets that's just seems ridiculous. Why not do some sort of poll to see what equipment members want before adding unnecessary stuff. And you should extend your hours especially on the weekends.

Current member at this gym. We pay a good amount of money for a family membership. They have a kids maximum capacity and will not take your kids. I think if you are going to charge me a good amount of money you better have a bigger daycare or watch my kids while I workout. Pathetic.

I’ve lived in the two largest cities in Texas and have never had access to anything like Verdure! They have the most incredible amenities. I truly feel like royalty being a member! My family absolutely loves it too.
